I Lie Impulsively
"I frequently tell off-the-cuff lies — saying the same thing happened to me when someone tells me of a misfortune, or inventing an excuse instead of just saying no to an invitation. I don't like that I do this, but the lies just roll off my tongue." ANYONE ELSE?
The School Is Pushing Me to Medicate
"My son has concentration and organization issues, but isn't hyper. I don't want to put him on medication — but also don't want to lose school services." DO I HAVE OPTIONS?
DEBATE: Paper vs. Digital Planners
"My Bullet Journal changed my life... getting to color and tick off items on a list is a mini reward."
"Are you kidding? This ADD brain does NOT love paper planners. It's just one more thing to lose, or I forget to write things down (or cross them off)."

I Am Addicted to My Phone
"I flick from site to site obsessively and constantly check my email and Facebook. I spend hours looking for perfect solutions for organizing my life, home, meals, and kids, then never have time to actually do any of it." HELP
I Barely Make It Through the Work Week
"My job offers me great pay and benefits, but it leaves me so mentally and emotionally spent that I have to spend every weekend in deep recovery mode (and never get things done around the house)." TIRED OF STRUGGLING
3 Things I’ve Learned Since My ADHD Diagnosis
"1) There is nothing wrong with me; 2) Being different is rare — and powerful; 3) My attention isn’t a deficit. Let me explain...."

Every Day Is a Battle with My ODD Teen
"From the moment my son wakes up, I'm met with a barrage of insults and cuss words. My husband and I don't agree on discipline and he's started threatening divorce. I feel like I'm losing what little control I had." COMPLETELY LOST
Was I the Victim of Hyperfocus in Dating?
"For two months, I dated the most wonderful woman. The relationship was loving and intense — until she suddenly broke up with me. Could her feelings have been true, or might this have been an example of hyperfocus?" CONFUSED & HEARTBROKEN
ADHD and Emotional Withdrawal in Women
"My rejection sensitive dysphoria (RSD) can devolve into an overpowering stew of guilt and anger, shame and misery. When this happens, I cut myself off emotionally. Like many women with ADD, I learned this unhealthy behavior in childhood."
Do you live with RSD? How would you describe what it feels like? POST COMMENT
