Willard Bay Gardens, nursery and gardening center, located at 7095 S. Highway 89 in Willard, Utah has recently been sold to new owners: Marjorie and Terry Ross.
Since her dear husband Barney’s death, on January 22nd, 2018, Della Barnett knew she was capable of running the nursery, through June, with the help of her amazing staff. Now, she has taken the time to sell their business and truly grieve the loss of Barney.
Willard Bay Gardens started back in 1948 as Chadwick Plants and then became WBG in 1988.
“My dear Gardening Friends,
I’ve sold Willard Bay Gardens as a NURSERY/GREENHOUSE, not building lots!!! I am so happy, sad, relieved and scared all at the same time! Thank you for all your extra care and support these last 6 months! We had a great 2018 season. Barney must have been watching out for us!!
The new owners are Marjorie and Terri Ross. Marjorie has worked with us since 2005. The WBG staff will be so happy to continue working with her, as I’m sure you all will be too!
I hope you will be supportive and helpful to Marjorie and Terry as you have been to us. You all have helped in one way or another for Barney and me to have had a great 30 years at WBG! Here’s to another 30 years with the Ross’s!”
Perennially yours,
Della
Della also adds, “The plan is to make some much-needed repairs during the winter. Since that will be going on, Marjorie will offer the Giant Amaryllis and 20% off Gift Certificate Sale as WBG normally does. The Giant Amaryllis will come in mid-October. The Gift certificate Sale will start the first of November and go through 22nd of December.”
Lastly Della would like to say, “What is also great is Marjorie has been managing Basket Daze for the last 5 years, so Basket Daze will continue!! Keep an eye out for future update!”
We would like to wish the new owners, Marjorie and Terry Ross the very best in their new venture as owners of Willard Bay Gardens!
