Join us for A + A’s first event of the new season to learn more about thinking BIG: how to score, plan and execute art projects on a LARGE scale, with Thayer Walker, co-founder of Ink Dwell, a studio makes art that inspires people to love and protect the natural world.
Ink Dwell's current #migratingmural project consists of 7 sites spanning the US, along the migratory paths of monarch butterflies.
Thayer Walker is an author, journalist, and cofounder of Ink Dwell studio. He has served as a correspondent for Outside magazine for more than a decade, and has covered topics ranging from civil war to submarine exploration of the deep sea. He once survived twenty days stranded on a desert island for a story and... show up to learn more!

Join us for A + A’s second event of the new season. Panelists from WSU, SLCC, and Ogden's Good Company Theatre explore the use of creativity and art to address social justice challenges and inequalities. Join the conversation to find ways to improve our community through the use of art and creativity.
This event is open to everyone seeking inspiring ideas and concrete examples of how creativity can be used as a platform for social good. Our panelists include Danielle Susi, Jenny Kokai, Carey Campbell, and Camille Washington. Todd Oberndorfer will be moderating, and Brandon Long (The Banyan Collective) will be recording for the Nine Rails Podcast series.

With the national uninsured rate back on the rise, growing to 12.2% in Q4 2017 from 10.9% in Q4 2016, the personal-finance website WalletHub today released its report on 2018's Uninsured Rates by City as well as accompanying videos and by State as well as accompanying videos.
WalletHub compared the rates for 547 U.S. cities and the 50 states, in addition to a breakdown by age, race/ethnicity and income level. The following are some highlights from the reports:
