Fremont opened up the prestigious Elite 8 Tournament with a solid victory over the team that knocked them out of the quarterfinals last year in the state playoffs. Baylor Harrop scored 23 points to lead the Wolves to the victory. Dallin Hall scored 16 points and Kai Featherstone was solid with 12 points off the bench.

Fremont won its first home basketball game to get back on the winning track. Tige Voorhees was slinging shots in from all around the court. He finished with 24 points making 6 – 3 pointers on the night. Kipp Calder came off the bench and added 14. Baylor Harrop and Dallin Hall each scored 10 and Wyatt Howell scored 8.

Baylor Harrop started off fast scoring 15 points in the first half. Dallin Hall finished strong scoring 13 of his game high 20 points in the second half. Fremont got contributions from Ryken Nye with 8 points off the bench. Tige Voorhees hit 3 – 3 pointers to finish with 9 points.
