PARK CITY, UT (June 10, 2014) — Park City’s iconic summer events return to Historic Main Street this season. The 0.8-mile stretch of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants will host music performances, arts festivals, outdoor dinner parties and much more.
“The vibrancy of Historic Park City in the summer is unmatched,” said Historic Park City Alliance executive director Alison Butz. “We’re excited to once again welcome back favorite longstanding events.”
The summer calendar of events includes:
Park Silly Sunday Market — Sundays, June 8, 15, 22 and 29; July 6, 13, 20 and 27; Aug. 10, 17, 24 and 31; and Sept. 7, 14 and 21.
Celebrating its seventh year on Historic Main Street, the Park Silly Sunday Market is an eco-friendly, open-air market and street festival. The market features regional and local one-of-a-kind finds, gourmet foods and farmers’ market fruits and vegetables. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Savor the Summit — June 21
Summer kicks off in Park City with The Grande Table during Savor the Summit. Park City’s longest dinner party is a unique celebration of food, drink and live music in the middle of Main Street and highlights the best culinary talents from local restaurants. Eateries taking part in the event can choose to reserve either a 50-foot or 100-foot table. Main Street and Heber Avenue close at 2 p.m.; the dinner runs from 4 to 10 p.m. www.savorthesummit.com.
Summer Gallery Strolls — June 27, July 25, Aug. 29 and Sept. 26
On the last Friday of every month, members of the Park City Gallery Association offer a free showcase of acclaimed artists, special exhibits and art events. The stroll takes place from 6 to 9 p.m.
Fourth of July — July 4
The annual parade starts at the top of Main Street at 11 a.m., with entertainment following in City Park. Main Street closes at 9:30 a.m.
Park City Food and Wine Classic Stroll — July 11
Master winemakers, culinary greats, distinguished guests and food lovers come together to celebrate food and wine. Various Main Street restaurants and shops will serve wine and hors d’oeuvres during the Stroll of Park City Grand Tasting, as well as winemakers’ dinners at restaurants throughout Park City. Triple Crown Softball Parades — July 15 and 22
Two parades take to Lower Main Street for Triple Crown Softball. Each runs from 6 to 7 p.m. www.triplecrownsports.com.
Classic Car Show — July 26
More than 65 classic cars will be on display on lower Main Street, between 7th and 9th streets. That portion of Main Street closes at 8 a.m., and the event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Park City Kimball Arts Festival — Aug. 1, 2 and 3
The annual Kimball Arts Festival will feature art exhibits along Main Street. The exhibition takes place at 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. www.kimball-art.org.
Tour of Utah — Aug. 10
The pro race returns, with the sixth and final stage taking place in Park City. http://www.tourofutah.com.
Miner’s Day Celebration — Sept. 1
Miner’s Day begins with the famous “Running of the Balls,” followed by the Miner’s Day parade at 11 a.m. on Main Street and activities in City Park. Main Street closes at 9:30 a.m. www.parkcityrotary.org
