There is a Harrisville Fall Festival is coming up! Mark your calendars for Monday, October 29, 2018, from 6-8 p.m. at the Harrisville Main Park at 1350 N. Hwy 89 in Harrisville, Utah 84404.
There will be lots of fun and new adventures! For starters, there will be a Trunk or Treat which offers a safer alternative to the usual nighttime trick or treating.
Bring your SUV, car, van, jeep, golf cart, or truck bed and hand out yummies to the kids in the Harrisville City area. To participate, sign up with Jennie Knight at jknight@cityofharrisville.com or 801-782-4100 ext. 1000. If no answer, leave a message with name, email, and phone number.
In addition, there will be the 1st Annual Pumpkin Walk. So, you’ll want to get your pumpkins decorated and ready. Pick any theme you’d like to carve up! Pumpkins will be on display during the Truck or Treat.
Truck or Treat contestants will be awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place pumpkins at 7:00 p.m. Pumpkins must be delivered to Harrisville Main Park by 5:00 p.m. Monday, October 29, 2018, to be entered for the contest. Free donuts and hot cocoa will be provided under the bowery.
Annual Fall Clean-up will take place October 15-18. Once again, Harrisville City will be offering the opportunity to clean-up yard and neighborhoods throughout the City. Two waste containers will be located at the main park; one for garbage and one for green waste. No hazardous waste or construction debris will be accepted. Please plan ahead to take advantage of this opportunity.
Boys Basketball Sign Up
All boys currently in grades 1-9 are invited to play basketball. Register online at www.cityofharrisville.com or at the City Office building Monday-Thursday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. -12 p.m. Registration can be done any time during the month of October. Cost is $35 and $15 if you already have a jersey (must be a reversible jersey with numbers on front and back).

2018 General Election
The General Election will be held on November 6. Ballots will be mailed out to all active voters starting no later than October 16 and may take up to a week to arrive. Please check your voter registration status by visiting vote.utah.gov and click on the “voter info/track ballot” section.
