Online class change window for 2nd or 3rd trimester will be open Monday, November 13th 8:00 am- Wednesday, November 29th 3:00 pm Counselors will be available to help in the counseling center on: Thursday, Nov. 16th 8-11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 20th 12-3:00 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29th 8:00-3:00 (Last day for 2nd trimester class changes) NEED TO MAKE A CLASS CHANGE? The schedule change window will be open for all students on Nov 13th at 8:00am and close on Nov 29th at 3:00pm. You may make changes to your 2nd and 3rd trimester schedules. Please keep in mind your graduation requirements while making changes. The counselors will be available to help in the Career Center on: Nov 16th - 8:00am to 11:00am, Nov 20th - 12:00pm to 3:00pm and Nov 29th - 8:00am to 3:00pm.
The BE Student Government will be collecting nonperishable food items to donate to those in need in our community! Please take the time to gather nonperishable food items that you would like to give. Place them in a grocery bag/box and leave them on your front door step on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 14th. The student government officers will be collecting them around 5 PM! Thanks so much for giving support to the student government and those our community!!
The Regents Scholarship Program Changes Sophomore and Junior Parents and Students The Utah System of Higher Education has announced major changes to the Regents Scholarship Program. The Regents Scholarship is a scholarship funded through our Utah Legislators. Eligibility rules and award amounts have recently changed. These changes will have significant impact on our Regents Scholarship students. SCHOLARSHIPS
The following scholarships are available through the counseling office: Calvin & Reva Wiggins Foundation Scholarship: This is a $1,000 scholarship for senior students that will pursue a career in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, Engineering all disciplines. Deadline: April 6, 2018 Applications available in the counseling office. Return completed application to the Counseling Office Class of ’65 Scholarship: There is one $1,000 for a girl and one $1,000 scholarship for a boy. To be eligible for this scholarship students must be a graduating senior. Must major in Science, Mathematics, Technology, or English Deadline: April 6, 2018 Applications available in the counseling office. Return completed application to the Counseling Office Lowell & Colleen Sherrett Scholarship: $1,000 for a graduating BEHS senior who has been accepted to a 4 year college or university. Must have a 3.0 GPA or better and shows leadership, integrity, kindness, and strength of character. Service, community involvement, and religious involvement are also considered. Deadline: April 6, 2018 Pick up application in the counseling center and return completed to the counseling center Dale C. Young Memorial Scholarship: $3,000 for a BEHS graduate who will be majoring in Education. Must have 3.5 GPA or better, show financial need and not received any other scholarships by time of selection. Leadership, community service and other significant achievements will be considered. Elks National Foundation most Valuable Student Scholarship: This is for a high school senior who shows academic achievement, Leadership, and Financial Need.

Jiffy Lube Teen Driver Scholarship: All licensed teen drivers attending BEHS. Must write a 500 word essay that expresses your “inner drive.” There is a second scholarship for students enrolled in a Driver’s Ed course this year.

The Violet Richardson Award: This is a $1,000 scholarship for a young lady who has shown great volunteer service to her community particularly service that benefits women or girls.

Susan W. Coda Memorial Scholarship: Must be a UT resident, attending high school, show proof of acceptance to a 4yr college or university outside of the state of Utah, 3.8 GPA or higher, demonstrate leadership, extra-curricular activity, and be involved in community affairs.
Deadline: Nov.1 2017 to March 1, 2018
Hagan Scholarship Foundation: This is a large scholarship for a graduating senior, with a 3.5 GPA or better and a 23 or better on the ACT. Must enroll in a four year college or university the fall semester after graduation. Must have worked 240 hours in the last 12 months and submit a 2017 FAFSA.

UYSA College Scholarships: Utah Youth Soccer Association (UYSA) has 2 college scholarship opportunities for seniors. The applicant should be a registered player with UYSA during the current seasonal year (2017-2018), but they do not need to play soccer in College.
