Frank Zummo + SJC Drums
Celebrate Success of
Loyal to the Craft Tour
Presented by VANS
August 14, 2018 - Southbridge, MA - After a sold-out run of drum shows in China, Frank Zummo (Sum 41, Street Drum Corps, Krewella) and Mike Cipriari (Co-Founder of SJC Drums) had an idea to bring something similar back to the drum community in the United States. They partnered with VANS to present the Loyal to the Craft Tour - a completely free show that combined qualities of drum clinics, concerts, q&a panels and more for a one-of-a-kind opportunity for fans. Traveling to venues like the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, House of Vans and School of Rock, this tour broke down barriers between artists, companies and fans. Zummo shared "What an incredible 2 week journey taking the "Loyal To The Craft Tour"around the East Coast & Midwest! It was truly beyond inspiring and we had a blast hanging and meeting everyone! It was an honor to jam with all the amazing upcoming musicians. Our mission is to keep this going and take it everyplace we possibly can!"
Each event featured pop up shops with exclusive merchandise and gear on-site. Local drummers, School of Rock students, bands and more performed both solo and with Frank at each event, while all those who attended were able to learn about everything from drums to business and more from both Frank and Mike. Whether these people were just starting out as drummers or have been playing for years, everyone was able to gain valuable insight into many facets of performance and the music industry. "These workshops took on a life of their own and we all leave this trip inspired, motivated, and ready to bring it to more cities! Watching the culture and connections between drummers, musicians, and parents was super powerful and we are proud to be a part of it!" shared Cipriari on the last few weeks of events.

He has also recorded on many platinum & gold records with artists including Kelly Clarkson, Orianthi, Gary Numan & The Used as well as on scores for the films "Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World" and "Beautiful Creatures." The immensely talented drummer of punk-rock band Sum 41, EDM duo Krewella, and Street Drum Corps is part of the SJC Drum family. Frank and SJC partnered with Shepard Fairey, American contemporary street artist, graphic designer, activist, and founder of OBEY to create a custom drum kit. Finished by Shepard Fairey and titled "Rise Above," the one-of-a-kind drum kit now resides at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas. The drum kit was used by Frank Zummo from 2016-2017 during Sum 41's U.S. and Canada tours, festivals and the 2017 Alternative Press Music Awards where Frank took home the award for Best Drummer and performed an epic battle with Josh Dun (Twenty One Pilots) and Adrian Young (DREAMCAR / No Doubt). The drum kit will remain at Hard Rock Hotel for the next three years with another portion of the kit taking up residence at the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH.

They value every step of the process and strive to give you a seamless experience from the moment you contact us through your years of playing. SJC recently presented a sold-out clinic tour featuring Frank Zummo overseas in China and look forward to creating unique opportunities for musicians to learn and grow in their craft.

USDA Adds New Tools, Resources to Farmers.gov to Aid Producers
WASHINGTON, August 14, 2018 – Agricultural producers have new resources available to them to prepare for and recover from impacts of natural disasters on the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s new website, farmers.gov. The site has updated tools and information to help agricultural producers identify the right programs and make decisions for their operations.
“Agriculture is a risky business,” said Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue. “At USDA, we’re here to help you prepare, recover, and build long-term resilience to natural disasters. Whether you want to visit your local USDA service center or visit our new farmers.gov, we want to help you get the help you need.”
New additions to the site – being built for farmers, by farmers – include a farmers.gov portal for secure business transactions and a disaster assistance discovery tool. The discovery tool walks producers through five questions to help them identify personalized results of what USDA disaster assistance programs meet their needs. The farmers.gov portal is the first edition of a secure dashboard for producers to manage program applications and other USDA documents.
These resources are in addition to other currently available through Farmers.gov, including:

“USDA’s vision for farmers.gov is to provide farmers, ranchers and foresters with online self-service applications, educational materials, engagement opportunities and business tools,” Perdue said. “Our goal is to provide you, America’s farmers, with the best customer service, and this website is one of many ways we’re working to do so.”
USDA’s Farm Service Agency, Natural Resources Conservation Service and Risk Management Agency are collaborating with partners in the government and private sector to build farmers.gov. Work began in fall 2017, and the site launched in 2018.
