Register

Don’t miss CER’s 25th Anniversary and the premiere event of the year for anyone in education – with unbeatable opportunities to network and connect with others in your field and professionals in the business, finance, technology and government sectors. This is your chance to establish new ideas, collaborate on important work and develop next-level solutions for tomorrow’s challenges with the EdReform community and leaders in Higher-Ed, as well as Ed-Tech entrepreneurs from across the country and throughout the globe.

Meet us where the States give way to Latin America: Miami, FL, for a globally hot Summit at the 5-star Mandarin Oriental at Brickell Key.

Representing the Higher-Ed community and some of the best the nation can offer in the way of colleges and universities are leaders including Strayer Education President & CEO Brian Jones, as well as Kaplan, Inc. Chairman & CEO Andy Rosen, who along with their expertise bring more than 25 combined years of experience in the field themselves. K-12 education leaders in attendance include National Heritage Academies founder J.C. Huizenga, Charter Schools USA President and CEO, and CER Chair Jon Hage, ACADEMICA CEO Fernando Zulueta, to name just a few.

Leaders in business, finance and talent will be present; CER welcomes guests including GSV’s Deborah Quazzo and founder Michael Moe, edX CEO Anant Agarwal and University Ventures’ Daniel Pianko.

CER’s 25th will see the EdReform community out en masse, with pioneering members of the movement like Institute for the Transformation of Learning at Marquette University Director Howard Fuller and Arizona Chamber Foundation CEO Lisa Graham Keegan, both joining the Summit and receiving awards at the Gala.

Among the policymakers and leaders in government the event will feature are Governor Tommy Thompson, Honorary Chair of the event Governor Jeb Bush and Education Secretary Rod Paige.

This is just too much.

We watched with great disappointment last week as liberal tantrums disrupted the first day of hearings for President Trump's nominee to the Supreme Court, Judge Brett Kavanaugh. The chaos and profanity were so bad that the judge's young daughters were rushed out of the gallery for their own good.

Liberals are desperate to completely control Washington. They want to stop conservatives like Kavanaugh, and use that to score cheap political points. Meanwhile, crucial issues are coming before the court—issues that need constitutional solutions—and liberals are too busy playing political games to do their jobs.

Enough is enough. We can’t let the Left smear and shout down a good man. It’s time to fight back—and to fight back, we need you.

Will you join us in defending Judge Kavanaugh from these offensive liberal attacks?

Use this secure link to spread the truth and stop the Left in its tracks. >>

Thank you for standing up for what’s right.

All the best,

Kay Coles James
President

P.S. With the serious issues that America is facing, we hope you will stand with us. Support The Heritage Foundation and defend Brett Kavanaugh today.

Releases New Single

"If I Don't Wake Up"

in Honor of

National Suicide Prevention Week

Listen HERE

Los Angeles, CA - September 14, 2018 - outsideOUTSIDE, made up of duo Kali & Tali, is excited to have released their new single "If I Don't Wake Up" today, in honor and recognition of National Suicide Prevention Week. The track, produced by Bkorn (co-producer of Travis Scott's 'Stargazing'), is not only a message to remind those struggling that things will get better, but that it's okay not to be okay, and no matter what you're going through, you're not alone.

This is their fifth track released as a duo, and comes off of their debut EP, Hell With My Friends, due out this fall via Warner Bros. Records. "If I Don't Wake Up" is available now on all major streaming services. Give it a spin here: https://spoti.fi/2NGWjjI.

outsideOUTSIDE sends emotional transmissions reverent of Warped Tour's golden years through a haze of 808s, trap percussion and nocturnal R&B. Think blackbear re-imagining My Chemical Romance's The Black Parade, and you're halfway there.

On "If I Don't Wake Up," the band shares:

"This song is dedicated to National Suicide Prevention Week.

"As individuals who have struggled with suicidal thoughts, addiction, depression, and anxiety, we understand what it's like to fall victim to self-destructive tendencies. These feelings are too heavy to escape, and running away only means that you eventually get caught. 'If I Don't Wake Up' is our attempt to acknowledge these emotions instead of hiding or escaping from them, and only in this way do we overcome them.

"The universal pain of the human condition has never been more prevalent in society than it is now, as the age of information fascinates and confuses us. We're connected but lonely, many of us living day by day in a state of quiet desperation.

"Everyone we encounter battles their own demons yet they are rarely spoken about truthfully, and in the process we've watched our friends and idols lives fade into the darkness of silence - 'If I Don't Wake Up' aims to help break that silence.

The 'outside' represents a place where everything can be expressed honestly without judgment or shame; where we can reclaim ourselves from our own despair...and finally see that we aren't so alone after all."

outsideOUTSIDE made their debut this past Valentine's Day with their single "Habits," and within a few months time, it amassed over 300K Spotify streams and landed the pair a deal with Warner Bros. Records.

The band's overall goal is to make outsideOUTSIDE a place where listeners can come to feel safe, and be relieved of their anxieties, pain, and anything else they're dealing with or suffering from. Kali says, "We're mirroring our experiences and showing we're not perfect. We're just like you. We go through the same things, and we understand. We recognized that kids needed somewhere to go where they could share these feelings, so we offer a sanctuary. You may not talk about it, but you access it at a show or in your room wearing headphones at 4 o'clock in the morning."

Hell With My Friends is set to release this fall. For more information, please visit http://www.outsideoutside.band/.
