Plain City Stake—Sherie Marsh wants to remind everyone about the Stake’s Family History Discovery Day on November 21 from 9:00am-12:30pm at the Stake Center.

Mary Evans was very concerned about The Slade family. Back in September, they lost their house and all their belongings to a fire. Mary set out to help this family with posting on Facebook and challenging all of Plain City to help this family. She challenged every family to donate $20.00 (more or less). A donation jar was set up at ROYLIES in Plain City or through an America First account set up for the Slade family. She didn’t stop there; she asked for people to look and see if they had school supplies for the kids, clothes, gift cards—anything to help. Roylies gets big thanks for helping out with space for the donations. This showed everyone that no matter what ward you live in, the whole Stake is willing to help.

Plain City 1st Ward—DeAnn Cagle said the Relief Society activity for October was the second course at the family search library in Ogden. Everyone is learning and enjoying their time there.
