Good Morning MMA Parents,
Apple for the Teacher is a program through the Standard Examiner’s Newspapers in Education that provides students with an opportunity to nominate and recognize teachers that have made a difference in their lives.
While all teachers are appreciated for the hard work and effort they put forth every day, certain teachers go above and beyond to make a positive influence to the students they teach.
Please allow your students to take the time to nominate a teacher that has had an impact on their lives. To nominate, students can either visit http://cares.standard.net/contests/ or fill out the form located below. Students may also write a short essay about the teacher they are nominating, as long as all of the required information is included. You can either scan and email completed forms back to Julie (jpaulson@standard.net), or drop them off at our Standard Examiner offices at 332 Standard Way, Ogden, UT 84404 or mail them to:

MMA Mascot
We are so excited to announce that we now have a mascot. Our student council did an amazing job creating and following through with the process to select our mascot. They created ballots and passed them out to all of our students. They then gathered and counted the votes. We are now the Maria Montessori Academy Mountain Lions!
