THE 2017 WEBER COUNTY FAIR RETURNS TO THE GOLDEN SPIKE EVENT CENTER AUGUST 9-12TH
The theme of this year’s Weber County Fair will be “Dancing with the Steers”
OGDEN, UT (July 11, 2017) – The Weber County Fair will return August 9th-12th for its thirtieth year at the Golden Spike Event Center. With this year’s theme- Dancing with the Steers- attendees are sure to have experiences like never before. “Each year the Weber County Fair Board gets together to brainstorm a few different theme ideas. They pick their top ideas, have artwork created, and then make the ultimate decision. This year’s theme is a spin-off of the ABC television show “Dancing with the Stars”. We thought it would be fun theme, and are excited for the new theme activities this year, said Jan Wilson, Weber County Fair Special Event Manager. New “Dancing with the Steers” activities include a dance Friday night at the riding arena, and concerts by local Underground Cash Bar, and country star Jordan Rager.
Other main events this year include MMA presented by Jeremy Horn's Elite Fight Night, a demolition derby, the junior livestock show, and of course the Weber County Fair Rodeo. There will be other events and attractions including a back-to-basics rodeo, horse pulls, master of chainsaw show, petting zoo, a parrot show, mechanical bull, inflatables, and so much more! There will be new exhibits, including tiny homes from Maximus Extreme Living Solutions, antique farm machinery, and home art exhibits. And their will of course be the famous fair food!
