Next week, January 22nd- 26th, our school will be taking part in "The Great Kindness Challenge" by having a kindness week at Bates. Kindness week will be full of fun activities and opportunities for students to show kindness, empathy and compassion to others.
Attached you will find a schedule for kindness week, as well as a random act of kindness sheet for younger (k-1) and older (2-6) grades. Hard copies of these papers will be coming home with students on Friday the 19th as well. Students should complete as many challenges on the sheets as possible and return their sheet to school on Friday January 26th for a treat. Students will also receive a "kindness matters" bracelet on Friday to wear during kindness week (and beyond) as a reminder to show kindness to others.
