Sen. Lee Comments on Emergency Declaration
WASHINGTON – Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) issued the following statement Friday after President Trump announced a series of executive actions related to the security of our southern border.
“My initial assessment is that what President Trump announced is legal,” Sen. Lee said. “Whether or not it should be legal is a different matter. Congress has been ceding far too much power to the executive branch for decades. We should use this moment as an opportunity to start taking that power back.”

While creating Living Proof, State Champs went back to their roots, writing and recording in garages while also collaborating with Mike Green and Kyle Black as they did for Around The World And Back. They didn't shy away from new experiences either, working with legendary producer John Feldmann (Blink-182, Good Charlotte) for the first time while additional contributions came in the form of writing sessions with Alex Gaskarth (All Time Low) and Mark Hoppus (Blink-182). On an album full of go-for-broke moments, State Champs pushed themselves to new heights without ever forgetting where they came from.
Living Proof is a record about coming out the other side those experiences, both triumphant and humbled. That growth is palpable, as State Champs made a record that's like nothing they've done before, but is still an album that only they could ever make. Fans can stream and purchase Living Proof at http://www.statechampsny.com/.
State Champs is Derek DiScanio (Vocals), Tyler Szalkowski (Guitar), Ryan Scott Graham (Bass), Evan Ambrosio (Drums) and Tony "Rival" Diaz (Guitar).

HEADS TO SXSW 2019

Previously Featured on Billboard, Clash Magazine,

February 15th, 2019 - Scotland - Indie rock band Fatherson is thrilled to announce their return to the United States for this year's South by Southwest Music Festival, taking place March 11-17 in Austin, TX. For a full list of showcases and upcoming tour dates, please see below or visit www.fathersonband.com.
Ahead of their appearance at SXSW, Fatherson will be performing in New York City as part of this year's New Colossus Festival. Fans can catch them on Thursday, March 7th at Arlene's Grocery, Friday, March 8th at Piano's, and Saturday, March 9th at Coney Island Baby.
Last year Fatherson released their newest album, Sum Of All Your Parts. The band's third full-length album, Sum Of All Your Parts has been heralded by Billboard, Alternative Press, PopMatters, as well as Spotify's New Music Friday playlist, and more. Fans can stream the album in full on Spotify and Apple Music, or purchase it online at ffm.to/sumofallyourparts.
Fatherson have traditionally been a word of mouth band. Attend any of their shows and you will find a room echo with lyrics being sung back en masse by adoring fans. The devotion of their fans saw the last album jump straight in at No. 2 in the Scottish album charts as well as performing strongly in the U.K. Other highlights include packing a 12,000 person tent at T in the Park and playing with Kings of Leon in Vienna.
The band have established themselves as a potent live force, having sold out Glasgow's Barrowlands as well as London's Scala on their previous run of dates. Together with blistering shows and a rabid fanbase Fatherson operate in a distinctly Scottish plane of sentimentally - it is no coincidence they have previously toured with the likes of Frightened Rabbit, Biffy Clyro and Idlewild.
Fatherson first announced their new album Sum Of All Your Parts with the release of "Making Waves" - a song indicative of what to expect from the next FathersonLP. According to Ross Leighton (guitar/vocals), the song "defined how the album would sound" as well as being a "heart on your sleeve slacker tune with a tonne of groove." The single does mark a change of direction for the band - the rousing and anthemic choruses remain but there is a newfound edge best summed up in the stunning video for "Making Waves."
Fatherson is Ross Leighton (guitar/vocals), Marc Strain (Bass), and Greg Walkinshaw (drums). The band released their new album Sum Of All Your Parts on September 14th.
