The most common political involvement at the neighborhood level is the local precinct (sometimes called political wards) political party meetings for the Republican Party; after which comes the county and state conventions. The Democrats and Constitution Parties are holding county regional-type meetings for caucus activities. Since we have been encouraged to become politically involved in our communities, we are presenting this information:
Weber County and Box Elder County Community Republican Party meetings are set for March 20th.
Weber County Community Democratic Party meetings are March 18th.
Weber County Community Constitution Party meetings are March 27th.
These are the closest levels of political-party involvement at the neighborhood level. Box Elder Republicans will meet on April 11th and Weber County Republicans will meet on April 12th. Then, the State Republican convention will be held on April 26th – probably at the South Towne Center again – according to the Weber County Republican website. Weber County Democrats will also meet on April 12th, and their State convention will also be on April 26th – probably at the Salt Palace according to Mr. Ben Pales, of the Weber County Democratic Party.
