This is our last week in our annual survey of the Top 20 Places to Take Kids in the Salt Lake area. Taking a peek into a few categories now...
As of last night, the top contender for the favorite museum is Discovery Gateway. That is followed by Clark Planetarium, the Treehouse Museum, and Museum of Natural Curiosity, which are separated by less than a dozen votes apiece. Truly, anything can happen in this category.
In the category of favorite indoor play center, The wAIRhouse is still in the lead! Boondocks is close behind. Classic Fun Center, Fat Cats, Kangaroo Zoo, Chuck E. Cheese, and Dartside are also making a strong showing.
Competing for the title of favorite places to have fun outside, Utah's Hogle Zoo and Lagoon are only 70 votes apart for the top spot! But Ogden's Dinosaur Park, Tracy Aviary and Antelope Island are also coming on strong. Cherry Hill, Thanksgiving Point, and Wheeler Farm are close as well.

Local Review: Huntsville Square and Pineview Reservoir
You probably know about Snowbasin Resort and Powder Mountain. But have you had a chance to visit nearby Huntsville? Nope? In fact, you might be wondering, Where is Huntsville exactly, and what’s there to do? Huntsville is in the beautiful Ogden Valley, about 10 miles down from the ski resorts. The area is scenic, gorgeous, and you’ll want to “shut the door” after you discover it. Truthfully there’s not much going on in town, with a local population of just 617.
