Plain City is organizing a city youth council, which is a great opportunity for teenagers. They gain experience in serving the community that can be used on future resumes and college applications. This program educates high school students about local issues and builds knowledge and skills in civic engagement. Through program participation, the youth are empowered to identify emerging issues and implement strategies to address them. Many of these youth are propelled into positive civic action that can last a lifetime. If interested, contact LaFray Kelley by email at lafrayk@q.com.
