Are you ‘Dressed for Church on Sunday Morning’?
Zadia B. Tyson encourages readers to focus on discipleship, worship, fellowship and stewardship instead of outward appearances
POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – Returning the publishing scene, published author Zadia B. Tyson announces the release of “Dressed for Church on Sunday Morning” (published by WestBow Press), a spiritual guidebook that encourages believers to focus on discipleship, worship, fellowship and stewardship as they carry out God’s plan and pattern their lives after Christ.
The book shares the biblical truth that God is more interested in what is in the heart of people rather than their outward appearances. Tyson reminds that in the life of a Christian, it is being “spiritually dressed” that reveals who he or she is in Christ Jesus.
“God is not interested in what we look like on the outside, but He looks at the heart of man. Whether dressed up or dressed down for church, God told us to worship Him in Spirit and truth and makes no mention of a dress code for worship service,” Tyson points out.
With the publication of “Dressed for Church on Sunday Morning,” the author hopes to remind readers to look into the important Christian disciplines and not to concentrate on deceiving outward appearances.

"Patience"
Now via Baeble Music
February 20, 2019 - Redondo Beach, CA - Acoustic singer/songwriter Cory Wells has shared two new singles ahead of his upcoming tour with Wiliam Ryan Key (formerly of Yellowcard) and Selfish Things. Fans can check out a new music video for "Patience," along with a stream of "Lost," now on Baeble Music.
"'Patience' is a song I initially wrote a few years ago that was never really released," Wells shares. "It's about my experience with infidelity and the mental torment it caused to both parties involved. It is something almost everybody has to deal with at some time or other. It's an issue that nobody should feel alone through. You are not alone."
On "Lost," he adds: "An ever-growing problem around us is drug abuse. 'Lost' was written about my younger brother and his struggle with addiction. Opiates have taken more friends from me than I care to admit. The way my brother is handling this addiction has shown me for the first time that there is hope. Not everyone is lost forever."
"The Virtue Tour" kicks off this Friday, February 22nd in Atlanta, with additional stops in Brooklyn, Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles, and more. For a full list of shows, please see below or visit: www.corywellsofficial.com.
Wells signed to Pure Noise Records late last year, along with releasing his most recent single "Walk Away." He shared: "I've looked up to Pure Noise Records and their incredible roster for a long time. To be a part of that family now is such a surreal feeling. They believe in the music and they believe in me. Gratitude is an understatement. Only love."
With a busy touring schedule and new music in the works, 2019 is already promising to be the biggest year yet for Wells. Stay up to date on the latest at www.corywellsofficial.com.

Hindus welcome popularity of yoga at Brigham Young University
Hindus have welcomed the apparent popularity of yoga at Utah’s Brigham Young University (BYU)— “founded, supported, and guided by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints”.
Writing about recently launched yoga class at its Museum of Art, its student-produced newspaper “The Daily Universe” wrote under an article dated February 21 “Yoga opportunities abound on the BYU campus”: in the first such class “the number of participants not only filled the large lobby but also spilled beyond the designated area”.
BYU has a recognized "Yoga Club" whose membership is open to Undergraduate Students, Graduate Students, Faculty/Staff. Its Women's Services offers free yoga classes which are available to “yogis” (both men and women) of all levels. Yoga is one of the graded courses offered, which talks about unifying “the mind, body and spirit” through yoga and includes “yoga philosophy”.
Commending the yoga opportunities available at BYU, Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada today, urged all major world universities to provide free yoga spaces, options and classes to their students and staff if they were serious to become/continue as world-class universities, enhance the student/staff experience and help reduce their stress levels.
Yoga, referred as “a living fossil”, was a mental and physical discipline, for everybody to share and benefit from, whose traces went back to around 2,000 BCE to Indus Valley civilization; Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, noted.
Rajan Zed further said that yoga, although introduced and nourished by Hinduism, was a world heritage and liberation powerhouse to be utilized by all. According to Patanjali who codified it in Yoga Sutra, yoga was a methodical effort to attain perfection, through the control of the different elements of human nature, physical and psychical.
According to a recent report of US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: “Yoga is the most popular complementary health approach in the United States - used by 14.3% of the adult population, or 35.2 million people”. According to US National Institutes of Health, yoga may help one to feel more relaxed, be more flexible, improve posture, breathe deeply, and get rid of stress. Yoga was the repository of something basic in the human soul and psyche, Zed added.
BYU, a research university with 33,633 daytime students, offers 26 doctoral programs, and was ranked number one among "Top colleges in the West for student engagement". Kevin J. Worthen is the President.
