Dear Editor,
We do not have a broken immigration system as some keep asserting. We have a very generous immigration policy... probably the best in the world, actually. We have been allowing a million legal immigrants to come here each year for decades.
It is a fact that it takes years of waiting to be approved... simply because we have millions and millions of foreigners trying to come, legally. These are honest, law-abiding, foreigners who have applied properly and are patiently waiting their turn.
Obama's declaration of amnesty for millions of illegal aliens, already here and who have blatantly violated our laws, is a total slap in the face to all those good decent people. They are likely very angry over it! Can anyone blame them?
For our leader to disregard the laws of the nation and take unilateral action outside of his authority smacks of a Banana Republic dictator. I am embarrassed and ashamed for our country at this preposterous unconstitutional action, which the vast majority of Americans do not support.

Dear Editor
Some Democrats are worried Barry Soetoro (aka Obama) could be impeached or even sent to prison! What they don't realize is that he actually deserves it.
The Founders were inspired to put in place a separation of powers provision in our Constitution, so our nation could avoid the very situation we are in, with an out-of-control leader.
They don't understand that legislation must come from Congress... not the Executive Branch. And that the Executive Branch is "obligated" by oath to execute the laws Congress passes.
We fought a Revolution to escape the tyranny of a monarch who ruled without regard to the subjects' needs/desires or representation.

Some claim that Illegals only come here so their family can have a better life.
Well people break into houses to steal so they or their family can have a better life, too.
What's the difference between that and what Criminal Invaders (i.e. Illegal Aliens) do?
And how fair is to the millions of decent law-abiding foreigners who have applied to come here legally, who are patiently and properly waiting their turn.
Obama slapped them in the face with his unconstitutional and immoral action.
