Weber County, Utah - The Weber County Commissioners, Weber County Attorney’s office, and their outside counsel will be filing a lawsuit tomorrow (Thursday, May 24) against opioid distributors and manufactures for falsely advertising the long-term use of opioids.
After the filing, they will be available for comment at the following location:
Utah State Capitol Rotunda

An excerpt from the filing states, “This case is about one thing: corporate greed. Major pharmaceutical companies and their distributors knowingly put their desire for profits above the health, well-being, and safety of Weber County residents.”
