Hemp, Inc. Subsidiary Industrial Hemp Manufacturing, LLC Enters Exclusive Agreement with Quadco, LLC to Distribute DrillWall in Alaska

SPRING HOPE, NC, July 24, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hemp, Inc. (OTC PINK: HEMP), a global leader in the industrial hemp industry with the largest multipurpose industrial hemp processing facility in the western hemisphere, announced today that Hemp, Inc.’s wholly owned subsidiary Industrial Hemp Manufacturing, LLC(IHM) has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Quadco, LLC for IHM’s proprietary natural products for the oil and gas well drilling industries in the state of Alaska.

In Alaska, the oil industry accounts for about one-half of the overall economy when the spending of state revenues from oil production is considered, according to the UAA Institute of Social and Economic Research. With full service districts in both Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay, Quadco is well equipped to provide a multitude of drilling, completion and intervention products and services to all of the onshore and offshore fields in Alaska.

Per the agreement, Quadco will distribute IHM’s DrillWall™, a Loss Circulation Material (LCM), which they now have in inventory. LCM is a term for substances added to drilling fluids when drilling fluids are being lost to the formations downhole. DrillWall™ is non-toxic and biodegradable, and is a mixture of micronized organic cellulose fibers that has been field proven for all types of drilling fluid formulas including water-based fluids (WBM), oil-based fluids (OBM), synthetic based fluids (SBM) and constant rheology fluids (CR-SBM). It has been used in all types of high loss geology formations including sand, fractured shale, pre-salt, pea gravel and other highly porous formations. It can be mixed through the mud hopper or directly into the mud tank at the agitation point.

“We are proud to distribute our DrillWall™ product exclusively through Quadco in Alaska,” said David Schmitt, COO of Hemp, Inc.’s wholly owned subsidiary, Industrial Hemp Manufacturing, LLC. “Quadco has an impeccable reputation as the leading distributor of products for the oil and gas industries. We look forward to working with them to provide an environmentally-friendly solution for seepage and loss circulation control in Alaska.”
Hemp, Inc. announced earlier this year that it had completed its first purchase orders for DrillWall™, Spill-Be-Gone™, and other products. Hemp, Inc.’s facility in Spring Hope, North Carolina has been operational for a solid year and the sales cycle has been gaining momentum, according to Perlowin.  Any drilling company wishing to purchase DrillWall™ in the state of Alaska can contact Quadco at 907-563-8999.

“We are excited to welcome IHM’s DrillWall™ product line to our downhole division. This innovative LCM material is an excellent addition to our market-leading solids control equipment,” said a Quadco representative. “Quadco looks forward to introducing DrillWall™ to the Alaskan market to prove this environmentally-friendly product’s loss circulation performance.”

With our industrial sales from our plant in Spring Hope, NC in full swing, Hemp, Inc. is now expanding the plant’s capacity to keep up with sales.  “We are now focusing on the CBD Oil and Farming divisions. In these divisions, there are a myriad of opportunities and even more so for us than in our industrial plant division which we’ve been operating for a solid year and that’s no small feat. One hemp processing plant, that comes to mind, could not move forward after breaking ground, so for us to be operating for a solid year is quite impressive,” says Perlowin.
In west Kentucky’s Carlisle County, a hemp processing plant that broke ground in March announced last week that it could not move forward due to lack of funding to build their hemp processing plant. Hemp, Inc., however, has built the largest facility in the western hemisphere and has been successfully operating it for a year so far. Building and operating a facility of this magnitude is a huge undertaking and Hemp, Inc. has done it successfully.

ADDITIONAL UPDATES FROM HEMP, INC.
Exciting announcements regarding hemp, hemp plants and hemp plant sales will be released soon. One minute video updates, from the last 3 weeks, covering the CBD Oil and Farming divisions, are featured on Perlowin’s personal Facebook page. These video updates are a good indicator of what Hemp, Inc. is planning. View the videos on Facebook and watch for future press releases.

One of the company’s strategic growing partner “Veteran Village Kins Community” is also expanding its footprint into new states across the country. The “Veteran Village Kins Community” is designed to grow hemp and produce CBD products to benefit veterans as well as generate revenue for Hemp, Inc., the Veteran Village, and individual veterans living in the community as well as jobs and income for surrounding communities.
The “Veteran Village Kins Community” in Arizona is now growing kenaf. According to Project Manager Dwight Jory, the kenaf is currently growing in a 40-foot square planter box and is about 6 inches tall so far.  Another 300 x 10-foot area is being prepped to grow kenaf to experiment on a windbreak.

Dozens of master growers, from Oregon, Colorado, California, Kentucky, North Carolina, Nevada and, of course, Arizona, companies, and organizations have also expressed an interest in pursuing a joint venture with Hemp, Inc. to each grow industrial hemp on the 300 fenced acres in Arizona as part of "The Great United American Hemp Project," where each grower will be growing 5 acres. Interested master growers, from around the country, should contact Project Manager Dwight Jory at ecogold22@gmail.com.

In the next 2 to 4 weeks, the public will be able to see live streaming video of the hemp growing “Veteran Village Kins Community” in Arizona in real time as part of the docuseries. Dozens of other fields are also being equipped with time-lapsed photography cameras as another part of the docuseries. The culmination of this tour will be the top 50 hemp growers, who all converge at the “Veteran Village Kins Community” in Arizona, to grow 5 acres each thus exposing the world in Arizona and all the growers around the country into the wonderful world of hemp.

For a more complete description, read the following, modified, October 24, 2017 press release, Hemp, Inc. Announces Strategic Hemp Growing Partner "Veteran Village Kins Community Arizona, Inc." Completes Final Site Plan Blueprints, below:

Hemp, Inc. has announced that its strategic growing partner, "Veteran Village Kins Community Arizona, Inc.," has completed its final site plan blueprints for its 500-acre site in Golden Valley, Arizona (20 miles north of Kingman, AZ and 90 minutes from Las Vegas, NV). The site plan was submitted to the Mohave County Building Department for final review. The Company is also in the final stages of completing the necessary infrastructure to support an off-grid, renewable, energy system. With the solar equipment in place, the site's solar power operation will be completed in the next days.

As soon as the live streaming video cameras are up and operational (scheduled near the end of July 2018), the world can actually see the way the Veterans Village Kins Community is designed and watch it being built. According to Perlowin, the basic framework or overall plan of the Veterans Village Kins Communities is to create a holistic healing and learning center that is designed to educate and heal veterans with PSTD, alcoholism, meth addiction, opioid addiction, and other psychological conditions while at the same time training them on the numerous aspects of being part of the emerging multi-billion dollar hemp industry.

We will also be building hemp-growing communities for other groups such as "Abused" Women & Children Village Kins Communities, the "Orphaned" Children Village Kins Communities, "Homeless" Village Kins Communities and the "Healers" Village Kins Communities (the healers are professionals who are knowledgeable in the modalities to treat these traumatized groups). These particular communities are all synergistically aligned to work simultaneously supporting each other.

For example, the "Healers" heal the traumatized veterans and women & children; the women support orphan children and orphan children want to see people living in homes and not homeless.  Thus, a portion of the hemp grown in each community goes to create and support another community, giving everybody a sense of giving back and helping others as they help themselves. This circles back to the healers who also work to heal the veterans and the other traumatized groups. This is the economic foundation on how the sale of the hemp products operates as a "quantum economic matrix" or an example of "symbiotic economics" which is more complex than this brief description allows.

Dwight Jory, the Project Manager for the "Veteran Village Kins Community Arizona, Inc.," said, "We are very happy with the progress. Our Kins Community is really beginning to come together." In anticipation of planting to begin during the spring, 300 acres have been fenced, 16 overnight trailer park sites are under construction, and six 40x40-ft organic vegetable gardens have been planted and are currently producing food and kenaf, according to Jory. These organic gardens double as experimental growing modules using an entire array of different growing technologies to see which modalities grow the best in a desert environment. As for the 6 geodesic domes mentioned in an earlier press release, 1 is structurally complete with only the electrical and plumbing to be completed. The rest are on site awaiting final site plan approval.

"We are now accepting volunteers who have expressed an interest in helping to build the first Kins Community for our veterans," said Jory. Those interested in making the first hemp growing CBD-producing "Veteran Village Kins Community" become a reality should contact Ms. Sandra Williams via email (swilliams@hempinc.com).

One thousand trees, on 36 of the 500-acres, have also been planted, with an additional 1,000 trees on order. The "Veteran Village Kins Community" will include a 100,000-square foot GMP compliant, central hemp and CBD processing plant, a state-of-the-art testing laboratory, and various health and wellness centers to support veterans who may have psychological, emotional or health issues.

"As Hemp, Inc. positions itself on the forefront of America's industrial hemp revolution, we see our partnership with 'Veteran Village Kins Community Arizona, Inc.' being paramount in supporting the small family farm movement that we are confident will reshape the American landscape," said Perlowin. "As we work toward getting our eco-village up and running in Arizona, we are also aggressively scouting strategic locations in other states including North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee and West Virginia. Giving veterans and other Americans a place to learn new skills and take part in this multi-billion-dollar hemp CBD market is very exciting. It's a big part of our mission to give back.  Recently we have expanded our Kins Community concept internationally focusing, but not limited to, Israel, New Zealand, Canada, Africa, Haiti and Uruguay."

According to Perlowin, we hope to have 50 "master hemp growers" working on their first “Veteran Village Kins Community” in Arizona. To date, we have growers from Oregon, Colorado, California, Kentucky, North Carolina, Nevada and, Arizona who have expressed an interest in pursuing a joint venture with Hemp, Inc. to each grow industrial hemp on 5 of the 300 fenced acres in Arizona. Perlowin says he'll call this "The Great United American Hemp Project."  Any grower having an interest in pursuing a joint venture on 5 of the 300 fenced in acres in Arizona should contact Project Manager Dwight Jory. Or, anyone interested in attending the 2 - 7-day hands-on hempcrete house building (a new division we are launching soon) should contact Dwight Jory as well. (Dates to be determined).

Women, Alcohol Abuse

And 4 Coping Skills For Recovery

A recent study that showed even moderate alcohol consumption can take years off your life not only attracted a lot of media attention, it also caused other studies about drinking to seem even more worrisome, especially with their findings about women.

We aren’t talking about harmless social sipping with friends here, and as the nation observes Women’s Health Care Month in May it’s worth exploring the growing negative role that alcohol plays in the lives of American women.

“My favorite line of all time is: ‘I don’t drink that much,’ ” says Dr. Soroya Bacchus (www.soroyabacchusmd.com), a psychiatrist and author of How to Detox Yourself from Alcohol.

“Sometimes the people who say this are right; they really don’t drink that much. More often, though, people say this to make themselves feel better about how much they do drink.”

Just last year, a study published by JAMA Psychiatry reported that more Americans are drinking high amounts ofalcohol, and some of the greatest increases are among women.

In addition, about 5.3 million women in the United States drink alcohol in a way that threatens their health and safety, according to the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism.

For those women, just trying to get sober won’t fix the fundamental problem that caused them to drink too much to begin with, Bacchus says.

“I don’t care about sober,” she says. “I care about healthy. No one drinks or uses drugs in a vacuum. Usually there is an underlying mental disorder that causes and worsens the alcohol or drug use.”

It’s important that women with serious drinking problems seek medical assistance so they can detox in a safe manner, Bacchus says. Detoxification from alcohol has more complications from withdrawal than any other drug, and the death rate for alcohol withdrawal is between 5 and 8 percent, she says.

Even after detoxing, Bacchus says, a therapist can help women develop healthy psychological coping skills to avoid a relapse.

Among the ways they can do that include:

  • Biofeedback therapy. This teaches you to develop voluntary, conscious control of physiological processes that are typically involuntary and unconscious. “If you have alcohol cravings, biofeedback teaches you how to identify the physical sensations associated with them and allows you to deploy strategies to counter them,” Bacchus says.
  • Hypnosis or hypnotherapy. Through hypnosis a therapist can explore the potential root causes of alcoholabuse, such as previously unknown disorder, a hidden memory or a past trauma. Bacchus offers a caveat: Only undergo hypnotherapy with a trained professional you trust completely.
  • Exercise. Every time you exercise you build yourself up both psychologically and physically, Bacchus says. “Before you know it, you have a positive habit that sustains you through tough times,” she says. “Instead of taking a drink, you go for a walk. Instead of falling into a rabbit hole of negative emotion, you hit the gym.”
  • Yoga. Yoga is both a great exercise for muscles and joints, but also an excellent way to deal with stress. “This makes it a perfect practice for recovery,” Bacchus says, “because you need to rebuild your body from the ravages of alcohol abuse and rebuild your mind from the negative thought patterns you developed over years of addiction.”

“The goal is to replace the negative coping mechanisms of addiction with the healthy coping mechanisms of recovery,” Bacchus says. “You need your mind and body working in harmony so your soul can be at peace.”
