Thanks so much for the amazing support with our fundraiser. if you haven't turned in money, please send it on Monday. We do have some boxes opened from making 20s and 30s of candy bars that we will need to sell. Your student is welcome to purchase candy bars after school for $1.00.
Thanks for the support with our parking lot. Our safety has improved drastically. We are working at being out there as long as possible, but our teachers and crossing guard need to get to class by 8:25. There are still a few glitches that have been brought to our attention. If you could help with the following things, the flow will continue to improve.
+Stay next to the curb until you unload/load and then move to the left lane or drive through lane.
+Line up for dropping students off starts at the end of the red loading zone which is located by the driveway that goes around to our kitchen and dumpster. We typically have a teacher standing here to direct. When you pull all of the way up we can get at least 7-8 cars dropping off at a time instead of waiting for just one car to unload by the flagpole.
+If you need to assist your children and give them a morning send off, you are welcome to park in a parking stall OR pull up in the unloading zone past the shed if you need to.
+If you could have your child/children exit/enter on the curbside of the car this would help even more with our safety. We often have cars pulling from the curb to exit the drop off and we don’t want to have a child or car door collide with a vehicle
+If you see the line is about to move, please just wait a few seconds before having your child unload/load. This helps significantly with the flow of the line.
+If you are waiting to unload or pick up and can see further ahead that there is a big gap of open drop off space, please feel free to safely navigate around vehicles to drop off your child/children.

PTA would love for you to send any Box Tops you have to school on Monday, February 25th. We haven't collected Box Tops since last Fall, and we are sure you have some at home you would like to send to school. Please make sure they are trimmed. We won't be having an incentive with this Box Top turn in, but we will have a call for Box Tops again before the end of the year with some type of everyone participates incentive again like we did in the Fall.
