Tom Steyer’s Need to Impeach Campaign Brings National Town Hall to Salt Lake City

Steyer to discuss Donald Trump’s offenses against the nation and demand that local elected officials support Rep. Al Green’s impeachment resolution

(SALT LAKE CITY, June 25, 2018)—Need to Impeach founder Tom Steyer is bringing the case to remove Donald Trump from office to Salt Lake City, where he will host a town hall—part of his nationwide, 30-stop town hall series—on Friday, June 29.

Since launching the town hall series earlier this year, Steyer has hosted town halls in New York City; Philadelphia; Columbus, Ohio; Cincinnati; Washington D.C., Largo, Md.; Arlington, Va; Oakland, Calif.; Atlanta; Orlando, Fla.; Des Moines, Iowa; Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Denver, Colo.; Charlotte, N.C.; Columbia, S.C.; Minneapolis; Seattle, Wash.; Reno, Nev.; Sacramento, Calif.; and Omaha, Neb.

At the event, Steyer will make the patriotic case to Democrats, Independents, and Republicans about the need to impeach Trump, and question why elected leaders in Utah and across the country are ignoring the clear call to action from their constituents.

According to a Quinnipiac poll, over 70 percent of Democrats support impeaching Trump, yet 127 of the 193 Democratic members of Congress voted against moving forward with Rep. Al Green’s impeachment resolution earlier this year. Only 66 representatives voted in favor of impeachment.

“From California to Florida, Americans across the country are outraged by Donald Trump’s lawlessness and are demanding his removal from power,” said Steyer. “At every single town hall that we have held, we hear directly from American patriots who are frustrated with this administration and the lack of leadership from members of Congress who are overlooking the will of voters who put them in office. Their time to act is now. American voters demand it.”

Steyer launched the Need to Impeach campaign on October 20, 2017, through national television and social media ads. Over 5.4 million people have since signed on to support the campaign, creating a digital army that several political strategists call one of the most powerful political tools in the Democratic Party. So far, 13 national commercials—including two in Spanish—have aired, reaching more than two billion television viewers and more than 454 million people through social media.

Missyou

Announce Debut EP

YourBody

Set To Release September 7, 2018

New York, NY - June 25, 2018 - Alt-pop/rock band Missyou have announced the release of their debut EP YourBody due out September 7, 2018. The five-track EP will feature previously released singles "Know It All" and "Child 44." Over the next few months leading up to the EP, the band will be rolling out additional tracks along with music videos directed by Blaise Beyhan, lead vocalist and the brain behind Missyou.

On the record, Beyhan shares, "YourBody flirts with the ideas of possession, bitterness, and realizing the truth about each other's dark secrets. It's very much story songs, as we write them like screenplays. This collection of songs is very much about loss and coming into your own."

The four-piece's vision is to create music they can stand behind with an emphasis on storytelling, moving listeners through time. They believe every picture and sound they create is part of a larger story, and above all, in freedom of expression. This EP brings Missyou's vision to life through visceral melodies and heavy hitting lyrics.

TROPHY EYES

RELEASE NEW SONG

 "MORE LIKE YOU"

NEW ALBUM THE AMERICAN DREAM OUT AUG 3

ALBUM NOW AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER

JUNE 25, 2018 - Trophy Eyes have released "More Like You" - the second single from their upcoming new album The American Dream out August 3 on Hopeless Records. Fans can stream the song now at smarturl.it/MoreLikeYouVisual or through Apple Music and Spotify.  The song had its radio debut yesterday on Radio 1 Rock Show with Daniel P. Carter

The band previously released the lead single and music video for "You Can Count On Me". The song is a push back, a reaction to the negative and judgmental treatment a lot of artist's experience on social media today and shines a spotlight on the impact this can have on their mental health.

The American Dream - the third album in the Trophy Eyes collection - is based on the idea that there's still utopia left on this this planet - a place where one can start again and live a peaceful life, forsaking the trail of destruction that threatened to derail it all.

The album also serves as a coming of age fable, in which lead vocalist John Floreani takes an introspective look at who he is today. His story is brought to life in vivid colour with string arrangements produced by Chris Craker, who can list the soundtrack to Hans Zimmer's score of "Interstellar" and Hans Zimmer "The Classics" on his production resume.

"This record is about my life in present time and a reflection on who I was and how I got here," Floreani explains. "As much of the other Trophy Eyes works have been the hate, violence, addiction and heartbreak I fought so desperately to leave behind, this record is about shedding one's past, transitioning from boy to man, making a home and wanting nothing more in life than to sit and enjoy the silence."

The American Dream follows on from their critically acclaimed 2016 album Chemical Miracle, which debuted at #8 in Australia and was a significant launch pad for the band as they dominated Australia with back-to-back tours sold out months in advance in some of the biggest rooms in the country. Trophy Eyes also went on to conquer the globe with headline tours in North America and the UK, both slapping sold out signs on box offices around their respective territories.

Trophy Eyes now leads a new wave in rock music, blending their punk and hard-core roots with modern rock and pop sensibilities. Known for their brutally honest and emotional storytelling and lyricism combined with one of the most energetic live shows on the circuit, Trophy Eyes are set to takeover with the drop of The American Dream on August 3.

The band is set to tour across North America this fall with more dates to be announced. A full list of dates and cities can be found below.

The album is now available for physical and digital pre-order. Those who pre-order digitally will receive and instant grat download of "You Can Count On Me" and "More Like You".
