Tooele County Issues Statement Regarding Sale of Racetrack
Tooele County, UT – Tooele County Commissioners express their continued commitment to representing Tooele County residents and to sell the racetrack
“The past two years have been filled with uncertainty as we have fought to protect the interests of Tooele County residents. We are pleased to announce that we have reached a settlement agreement to end the current lawsuit over the sale of the racetrack currently known as Utah Motorsports Campus. It is our hope that with this agreement we can move forward, to once again market the facility for sale and ensure economic stability for all residents and local businesses that rely upon the track for their livelihood.
This was never a quick sale to put money in the County’s pocket, but about community members being able to keep their jobs and provide for their families. We are grateful to our constituents for putting their trust in us and sticking with us through this process.”
