Counseling Corner
Hey Titans and parents! Can you believe it’s already 4th quarter? Time is flying by and we’re almost to the end. We hope it’s been a fun and productive year and you still have the determination and drive to Keep Mov-ing Forward and finish the year strong. As a counseling team at Orion Junior High, we want to do all that we can to help you and your student finish on a positive note. Remember…the best thing you can do is work hard and keep those grades up! Even though spring is in the air and it’s easy to get distracted, keep in mind that we’re not done yet! So Titans, keep working hard in your classes right up until the end of school. As always, if you ever have any questions, problems, or concerns, feel free to come visit us in the counseling department anytime. We care about you and love having the chance to work with such great students and parents. Have a great 4th quarter Titans!
Sincerely,
OJH Counseling Team - Mrs. Miller, Mr. Crookston, Mr. Deamer, Mrs. Lowder Orion Junior High’s Annual Life Skills Conference taking place on March 18th
Mark your calendar Titans, because Orion Junior High’s annual Life Skills Conference will be taking place on Tuesday March 18th during school. All OJH students will have the chance to learn about different professions and careers professionals visiting the school. Some of the career professionals will include doctors, dentists, police of-ficers, firefighters, CEO’s, lawyers, manufacturing techs, cosmetologists, as well as other career professionals! In addition to hearing from career specialists, Orion Junior High will also be welcoming two keynote speakers and performers – Josh Drean, motivational speaker and Cosmo the Cougar entertainer from BYU, and Sam Bracken, local Utahan and publish author of the teenage book The Orange Duffle Bag. 4th Quarter Incentive Activity at Lagoon
