What the President “should say” to Americans!
In light of the “mail terrorism” and the “murders” in Pittsburgh, shouldn’t the President step forward and be absolutely clear about where he stands? I would advise him to issue the following statement, not in person (because he has a tendency to go off on a tangent) but with the weight of the White House behind it.
“My fellow Americans, this is NOT the way Americans should be treating one another. Anyone who is my supporter, who purports to agree with my agenda and listens when I speak, LISTEN NOW! Stop the hateful language, do not resort to violence for any reason, and show your support for me by VOTING for Republican candidates. Your anger or dissatisfaction on particular issues should be translated into VOTES, not threats or hate. Mail bombs and murder are NOT solutions to political issues. Those actions only destroy our country!”
Don’t you agree that all Americans should follow this advice?
