Two more Republicans have just signed the amnesty petition.

This means that the Democrats, the party of amnesty, are TWO Republican signatures away from forcing a vote to grant amnesty and citizenship to millions of illegal aliens.

You must stand up to these Republicans and block amnesty now >>

With Heritage Action, you can hold every Republican lawmaker accountable to their campaign promises and make sure they don't join the liberal Democrats in this horrendous amnesty scheme.

Put an end to this amnesty now >>

This is an urgent matter of national security.

Thank you for doing all you can to block amnesty for millions of illegal aliens.

Best,

Tim Chapman
Executive Director
Heritage Action for America

A Hot Take On Heartbreak

Out Now

Summer Headline Tour Kicks Off June 15

May 25, 2018 - Brisbane, AUS - Columbus have released their new record A Hot Take On Heartbreak ,out today via UNFD. The band will also tour this summer with fellow Brisbane trio SWEATER CURSE. Check out the new album in full here: https://unfd.lnk.to/AHTOH

Ahead of the release, Columbus released the single and music video for "Care At All", which fans can view here:https://youtu.be/u54MlNh5hL0

Bands evolve from album to album as the lives of its members, and their music tastes, continue to change. That's particularly true in the case of Columbus, whose debut album was entitled Spring Forever, but its follow-up A Hot Take on Heartbreak has seen the Brisbane trio opting for a dramatic change of season.

That desire to move on was informed by a shift in the collective listening habits of Alex Moses and his bandmates, bassist Ben Paynter and drummer Daniel Seymour, who traded the punk and hardcore of their formative years for the influential alt-rock of the late 90s/early 00s, including Weezer and The All-American Rejects.

Columbus recorded A Hot Take On Heartbreak with Joel Quartermain, widely known as the multi-instrumentalist of Western Australian rockers Eskimo Joe; and a producer with a wealth of experience and the know-how that comes with being in a band himself. And not just any band; Joel's experience having won eight ARIAs over the course of multiple Number one and platinum albums informed the creative process in such a way that it allowed Columbus to take more risks because they had the full support of someone who had already scaled the heights.

===================================

“Over the past decade, it’s become increasingly apparent that Washington has no appetite for fiscal restraint,” wrote former Heritage Action vice president and current deputy director of the White House Office of Management and Budget Russ Vought. “President Trump stands ready to put our fiscal house back in order and put the American taxpayer first.”

On May 8, President Trump exercised his authority under the Impoundment Control Act of 1974 and formally requested that Congress rescind $15.4 billion in “unobligated balances,” temporarily freezing the funds from being spent and creating a 45-day window for Congress to pass a bill to rescind the money. The deadline for Congress to act is June 22.

Yesterday, Sen. Mike Lee and eight original cosponsors introduced the Senate version of the President Trump's rescissions recommendation to cut $15.4 billion in wasteful spending. The “Spending Cuts to Expired and Unnecessary Programs Act” (S. 2979) would return that money to taxpayers and build momentum to further reduce federal spending.

Today is the day for congressional Republicans to fulfill their campaign promises and put an end to wasteful government spending. S. 2979 and its companion bill in the House (H.R. 3) are a great first step. We must do everything we can to voice our support for these bills.
