Los Angeles, CA - August 29

, 2018 -
Pop-punk band Victory Kid is exclusively premiering the music video for their track "Tuck Frump" via Atwood Magazine today! The track comes off of their debut EP Illenials which was released this past May. Give "Tuck Frump" a watch here: https://bit.ly/2NsjCdO.

"'Tuck Frump' was written the week Trump was inaugurated, during a time that we felt a shift in global politics. The goal of this song is to recognize that citizens are part of a system designed to send wealth to the rich while turning average Americans against each other, and from that to inspire hope for a future where that can change. Harmony starts when everyone's needs are met," shares vocalist, Harrison Nida.

Victory Kid's follow-up EP Thrillenials, released earlier this month, was co-produced by the band's very own frontman Harrison Nida and Allan Hessler (Avenged Sevenfold, The Used). The horns heard on the EP were tracked by Matt Appleton, saxophonist of the extremely popular ska-punk band, Reel Big Fish. Thrillenials is the follow up to the bands successful debut EP Illenials, released this past May. Both EPs are part of a series of releases the band has recorded that are inspired by the band's frustration with the negative stigma associated with millennials.

Earlier this summer, Victory Kid released the music video for their first single off of Thrillenials, "Clownin." Check out the music video for the band's track, which was inspired by the creepy clown sightings that happened a couple years ago in the U.S., HERE.

Victory Kid is Southern California's answer to a question that has yet to be asked. With their high-energy blend of pop-punk, ska and rock music, they allude to a time when everything was possible and nothing was off the table. Thrillenials and the band's previous EP, Illenials, draw inspiration from the band's love of real, heartfelt music and political activism, creating a unique mix that's unlike any other band in their genre.

About Charity Bomb

Charity Bomb is a non-profit organization founded by four philanthropic friends to produce benefit shows for a variety of charitable organizations in the scope of music. Our motto is "All Purpose Altruism" - we deliver 100% of the proceeds, 100% of the time, with 100% transparency, to ensure that the funds raised reach its intended constituency, every dime, every time.

Musician & Philanthropist, Matthew Leone was put into a coma with 1/3 of his skull removed after rescuing a woman being beaten on the streets of Chicago a few years back. From Kevin, Lyman & Warped Tour, to Kiss and Madonna, the international music community rallied to bring him back to life. Smashing Pumpkins even did a benefit show for him. Twin brother, singer for their band Madina Lake, Nathan Leone agrees, this is what saved his life. Consequently, the Leone's devoted their lives to giving back. After several years with Sweet Relief Musicians Fund & Help Musicians UK, it was time to branch out.  All-Purpose Altruism - Charity Bomb reflects the ubiquitous truth that love is the antidote for everything. This notion, as applied in our philanthropic context, asserts that we will drum up love, in all of its forms, for a particular cause or purpose, and drop it on the antagonist.

Los Angeles native, professional musician & acclaimed songwriter, Nik Frost, suffered from addiction. When drugs came dangerously close to claiming his life, it was fellow musicians, Dave Kushner & Brian O'conner (Velvet Revolver & Eagles of Death Metal respectively) who intervened and came to his rescue. Nik worked with Matthew on several projects, all a pre-destination to Charity Bomb. We are a non-profit, fundraising and awareness agent for any benevolent cause that enters our ether.

Ryan Ford, lifelong closest friend, philanthropist, successful entrepreneur, an avid lover of music, is the fourth Charity Bomber. Ryan's founded several businesses, MP45 Records among them, and brings the administrative acumen to complement his creative contribution to the collective. In short, we have the purpose, we know the right people and we know how to put on a show. We love a win-win-win outcome. It's abundantly clear that living a life where we produce spectacular live music events that serve a philanthropic cause, makes our constituents win, our clients win, and the fans win.

NOMINATE YOUR PHYSICIAN FOR THE

“COUNTRY DOCTOR OF THE YEAR AWARD”

Contact:  Phillip Miller

469-524-1420/phil.miller@amnhealthcare.com

DALLAS, TEXAS – The search is on once again for the national Country Doctor of the Year. Staff Care, the nation’s leading physician staffing firm and a company of AMN Healthcare, is looking for a great country doctor, the kind who still makes house calls and accepts the occasional apple pie or roast turkey for a fee.

Now in its 26th year, the Country Doctor of the Year Award honors the spirit, skill and dedication of America’s rural medical practitioners.

As part of the award, Staff Care will provide the Country Doctor of the Year with a temporary physician for two weeks at no charge, a service valued at $10,000.  According to Staff Care President Jeff Decker, rural doctors often cannot find physicians to cover their practices and so have difficulty taking vacations.

“We hope the award winner enjoys some well-deserved rest” Decker said, “but our real intent is to honor an outstanding country doctor and to shine a light on the great work that rural physicians continue to do even as their numbers dwindle.”  Past recipients of the award have been featured in numerous national media outlets, including USA Today, People, Parade and The Today Show.

Nominations for the Country Doctor of the Year Award will be accepted for physicians who practice in rural communities and who are engaged in such primary care areas as general practice, family practice, internal medicine, and pediatrics.   Anyone can nominate a physician, including friends, patients, co-workers or family members, and all stories or anecdotes about the physician’s practice are welcomed.

Nomination forms can be completed electronically at https://amnhealthcare.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_ePcHfiUusrkRdSR.  For more information visit the Country Doctor of the Year Award website at http://www.staffcare.com/about-us/country-doctor-award/ or you may call Staff Care for a nomination form at (800) 685-2272.   Completed nominations must be received no later than November 15, 2018.
