Judicial Watch Sues DOJ for FISA Hearing Transcripts Tied to Clinton-DNC Dossier

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Justice for all hearing transcripts of Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrants related to Carter Page and Michael Flynn (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:18-cv-01050)).

Judicial Watch filed the FOIA lawsuit after the DOJ failed to respond to a February 26, 2018, FOIA request for:

Copies of all transcripts of hearings before the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court regarding applications for or renewals of Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrants relating to Carter Page and/or Michael Flynn.

On February 7, 2018, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes wrote a letter to Judge Rosemary M. Collyer, the presiding judge at the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) requesting transcripts of “any relevant FISC hearings associated with the initial FISA application or subsequent renewals related to electronic surveillance of Carter Page.” On February 15, Judge Collyer replied that the FBI and DOJ “possess most, if not all, of the responsive materials the Court might possess, and we have previously made clear to the Department, both formally and informally, that we do not object to any decision by the Executive Branch to release any such FISA materials to Congress.”

“It is outrageous the Justice Department is covering up a key FISA court transcripts that would shed light on how the Clinton-DNC Dossier was used to obtain surveillance of the Trump team,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “Frankly, President Trump should order that the DOJ and FBI release all documents about the FISA court process that was subverted by the corrupt use of the Clinton-DNC dossier.”

In January 2018, Judicial Watch sued the DOJ for text messages and other records of FBI official Peter Strzok and FBI attorney Lisa Page (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:18-cv-00154)). Strzok reportedly oversaw the FBI’s interviews of former National Security Adviser, General Michael Flynn; changed former FBI Director James Comey’s language about Hillary Clinton’s actions regarding her illicit email server from “grossly negligent” to “extremely careless;” played a lead role in the FBI’s interview of Clinton; and is suspected of being responsible for using the unverified dossier to obtain a FISA warrant in order to spy on President Trump’s campaign.

In February 2018, Judicial Watch sued the DOJ for FBI documents regarding the FISA warrant application submitted to – and responses from – the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court related to alleged collusion between Russia and Trump campaign associates (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:18-cv-00245)).

In May 2017, Judicial Watch sued the DOJ for records of communications and payments between the FBI and former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele and his private firm, Orbis Business Intelligence (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:17-cv-00916)).

And last month, Judicial Watch sued the DOJ for records about top Justice Department official Bruce Ohr and his wife Nellie Ohr’s involvement in the Trump dossier authored by Christopher Steele (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Justice (No.1:18-cv-00490)) and (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Justice (No.1:18-cv-00491)).

Hemp, Inc. Invites Large Scale Purchasers to Secure Their Hemp Biomass Now

SPRING HOPE, NC, May 01, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hemp, Inc. (OTC PINK: HEMP), a global leader in the industrial hemp industry with the largest multipurpose industrial hemp processing facility in the western hemisphere, announced today that it will sell hemp biomass to large purchasers who want to secure an on-going supply of hemp biomass, particularly to companies using CBDs in their product line. There is a massive increase of demand for high CBD hemp biomass (for the production of CBD distillate and CBD isolate) to be used in the ever-increasing array of products by an ever-increasing group of companies.

Bruce Perlowin, CEO of Hemp, Inc. (OTC PINK: HEMP) said, "Potential buyers are looking for a reliable,  significant supply source to use in their pharmaceutical and/or cosmetic formulations. That’s where we come in. Hemp, Inc. has the largest industrial hemp multipurpose processing facility and milling operation in the western hemisphere and we will be growing up to 25,600 acres of industrial hemp this year. That’s roughly 40 square miles of industrial hemp to be sold as hemp biomass."

One of our target markets is Fortune 500 companies that are considering adding CBDs to their existing product line.  Without a reliable source of hemp biomass, you cannot get a reliable source of CBDs. Hemp, Inc. already has the infrastructure, up and running and in placeto be that reliable source needed.

By growing such a large amount of industrial hemp, Hemp, Inc. is able to produce fresh biomass in meaningful quantities which can be a greatly beneficial reliable supply source.  "We can accommodate multi-million dollar, multi-year, long-term contracts since we have plan to expand the number of acres grown for hemp biomass every year," says Perlowin. "The biomass can be packaged in foil-lined Super Sacks or Gaylord Boxes that are nitrogen-flushed to preserve freshness for up to 2 years."

Twenty-five thousand six hundred acres may sound like a lot  just to put things in perspective, in 1943, during the "Hemp for Victory" campaign, America was growing 358,000 acres of hemp… a substantial amount more than Hemp, Inc.’s 25,600 acres we are preparing to grow.

According to Perlowin, the demand for biomass is huge and the company has been receiving requests from people asking to buy more biomass than what can be produced from 25,600 acres. So, for those of you who want to secure high CBD hemp biomass, you are encouraged to follow Hemp, Inc.’s High CBD Biomass Model. The first step would be to provide the seeds or clones. Next, Hemp, Inc.’s farmers will grow and harvest the industrial hemp. The last step will be for you to buy the harvested hemp biomass from Hemp, Inc. minus the cost of the seeds or clones, after this year’s harvest.  Please note: There will be a substantial prepayment required on all contracts.

Secure your high CBD hemp biomass today before we run out! Hemp, Inc.’s sale price to you, for the biomass you provide the seeds or clones for, will be the market price at the time of harvest.

"We are currently in negotiations to grow high CBD hemp biomass in many other states around America and many other countries around the world, thus ensuring our customers will have a consistent and long-term supply of high CBD hemp biomass," said Perlowin.

Raleigh, NC - The wait is over for rock band Big Something's 5th studio album, The Otherside. The album premiered in full on Relix earlier this week, and has recently been featured on Jambase, Live For Live Music, Glide Magazine, and more. The Otherside is a follow up to 2017's Tumbleweed, the band's most critically acclaimed release to date. Big Something celebrated the release with a 2 night performance at Greenfield Lake Amphitheater in Wilmington, NC during their event The Big What? Wilmington on April 27 & 28. For more information or to purchase the new album, please visit: www.bigsomething.com.

"This album is special for us in many ways. It felt like we were capturing an important moment together as a band and as brothers," shares vocalist/guitarist Nick MacDaniels. "We also wanted to pay homage to the original concept of making "an album" where sitting down and listening to the whole thing is an experience - 20 minutes per side with a break between and each side complements the other. This is the first time we've setup a release to fit perfectly on a vinyl record like that."

Bassist Doug Marshall adds: "The recording felt effortless. There was a certain vibe in the air. It felt like everything took a big jump.  In the songwriting and the performance. Everyone went to the next level. I'm very proud to have been a part of this album."

A 6 piece powerhouse with a sound that is both unique and timeless, Big Something fuses elements of rock, pop, funk, and improvisation to take listeners on a journey through a myriad of musical styles. It's no secret why this group has quickly become one of the most exciting new bands to emerge from the Southeast. Soaring guitars, E.W.I. (electronic wind instrument), synths, horns and alluring vocal hooks rise to the top of their infectious collection of songs and represent a sound that has caught the ears of such revered stalwarts as Umphrey's McGee, Moon Taxi, Galactic, moe., Robert Randolph, and even The B52s, who have all tapped Big Something as direct support.

The Otherside was recorded at Echo Mountain Studios in Asheville, NC with the help of Grammy-nominated producer and Carolina Music Awards Lifetime Achievement recipient - John Custer (Corrosion of Conformity) who has produced all 5 of the bands albums.

On The Otherside, Big Something continues to build upon the post-apocalyptic peyote trip imagery from Tumbleweed, concluding the story of a nomad who has made it to the other side of his journey wandering through the night towards a desert sunrise. The album also showcases a different musical side of the band with a heavier, more focused and soulful collection of 8 songs including "Smoke Signal" - a track that was written for the studio and has never been performed live.

The project is dedicated to the memory of the bands late lyricist and friend Paul Interdonato who tragically passed away on Dec 3, 2017 - the same day the band was setting up in the studio to record. Now each song carries a certain weight as the album features several of the last lyrical compositions that Paul ever wrote for Big Something. It is a thoughtful and poignant musical journey paying tribute to a lifelong friend with a brilliant imagination.

Big Something is Nick MacDaniels (vocals, guitar), Casey Cranford (sax, EWI), Jesse Hensley (lead guitar), Ben Vinograd (drums), Doug Marshall (bass), Josh Kagel (keys, trumpet), and Rhett Huffman (keys).

With an intrinsic understanding of an environment's power, perhaps it's no coincidence that Bates has become not only an artisan at architecting music for film, television, and video games, but an in-demand multi-instrumentalist, writer, and producer. Through the nineties, he logged 1,200-plus live shows in his bands, including Pet, released on Igloo/Atlantic records, under the guidance of Tori Amos, before segueing into the world of film score. He started to make waves by creating the audio backdrop for the popular Zack Snyder Dawn of the Dead reboot in 2004 followed by his soundtrack for the filmmaker's 300. By 2017, he worked on the most successful franchises in recent memory: Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy and John Wick

2014 saw the birth of a powerful partnership with Marilyn Manson. After meeting on a Californication performance, Bates went on to co-write and produce the 2015 epic, The Pale Emperor. A runaway worldwide success, it achieved the Top 10 of the Billboard Top 200 at #6 and earned widespread critical acclaim with Rolling Stone hailing it as the "#1 Metal Album of 2015." Read more about Tyler here: http://www.tylerbates.com

ABOUT TYLER BATES:

With an innate understanding of an environment's power, perhaps it's no coincidence that Tyler Bates has become not only an artisan at architecting music for film, television, and video games, but an in-demand multi-instrumentalist, writer, and producer.

By 2017, he worked on the most successful franchises in recent memory: Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy and John Wick. In addition to composing for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 & Vol. 2 and winning a BMI Film Music Award for the first, he co-wrote and produced a fan favorite "disco version" of "Guardians Inferno" [feat. David Hasselhoff], performed the second installment's score at the 2017 MOSMA Festival in Spain, and crafted the music for the Disney California Adventure attraction Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission Breakout!

Meanwhile, John Wick: Chapter 2 represents the nexus of his work as a composer, performer, and songwriter. He penned the closing credits tune "A Job To Do" alongside legendary Alice In Chains guitarist and vocalist Jerry Cantrell and performed on-screen during the climactic "Rock Opera" sequence, rocking a guitar-viol on stage with Le Castle Vania and Nostalghia. Samurai Jack offered a similar experience. After overseeing score production for Samurai Jack with composers, Joanne Higginbottom and Dieter Hartmann, he took the stage to perform a suite of the score at a sold-out Ace Theatre concert.

Samurai Jack is just one of his many TV credits. His sonic presence can also be felt throughout Netflix's The Punisher, Showtime's Californication, Audience Network's Kingdom, WGN America's Salem, and more as well as video games such as Killzone: Shadow Fall, God of War: Ascension, Army of Two: The 40th Day, and most recently Crossfire.

2014 saw the birth of a powerful partnership with Marilyn Manson, touring the world. After meeting on a Californication performance, Bates went on to co-write and produce the 2015 epic, The Pale Emperor and the follow up in 2017, Heaven Upside Down. A runaway worldwide success, it achieved the Top 10 of the Billboard Top 200 at #6 and earned widespread critical acclaim with Rolling Stone hailing it as the "#1 Metal Album of 2015."

Bates handled music for the blockbuster Atomic Blonde starring Academy Award® winner Charlize Theron. For the project, he also produced Health's cover of "Blue Monday" and re-invigorated and revitalized Ministry's "Stigmata" with Manson for key sequences in the film. On the big screen, he can be heard in the critically acclaimed The Belko Experiment as well as Public and 24 Hours to Live, while his voice permeates NETFLIX's The Punisher and Season 2 of The Exorcist.
