On Thursday, streams of water will carry 250,000 kokanee salmon—two to three inches long—out of stocking trucks and into the blue water at Jordanelle Reservoir. Stocking a quarter of a million fish is another step in turning Jordanelle into an amazing fishery. In addition to kokanee salmon (which biologists introduced to the reservoir a couple of years ago), two hybrid fish species—tiger muskie and wipers—now live in Jordanelle.
