Are you frustrated with how big government is running amuck with no end in sight?   Do you want to get up off your keester and make a difference by being part of an organization, but can’t find one that supports your values?  Well, Byron and Dakota Tuck from Howell, Utah, know and understand your pain and invite you to join them and other activists that stand for patriotism and Constitutional values.

“We could not find a group that matched what we advocated for,” said Byron, “so we begrudgingly started hosting and becoming the action forum through an organization called Freedom Works.  According to the couple, they volunteered to become certified through this organization; and as time went by they attended training in Salt Lake City by a Freedom Works representative and received certification as sanctioned Freedom Works activists to form an organization in Northern Utah called the Untied Citizen Task Force.

To be able to function properly and be effective, Freedom Works provides training for task force members as needs arise.  Byron and Dakota explained the last training was about dealing with the media and not wasting their time by providing factual information that has verified sources, which for the media makes a big difference.  If media representatives receive information they can easily verify, it gets their attention and makes their job easier.

The UCTF is a grass roots organization that has just been formed and had their first meeting a month ago, which was well attended by nearly 30 citizens in the Box Elder County area.  The couple laid out the task force’s agenda at that meeting.  According to Byron, the organization is meant to be a checks and balances group that will attend city, county and state meetings to be a voice for those that advocate Constitutional values.  The members will report to the group the happenings at these meetings in order to gather information to take back to the government leaders. This helps them make better informed decisions that don’t trample the rights of the people.  Members will also be a voice in the council meetings to remind leaders of their responsibilities and duties to the citizenry.

“The whole point of the UCTF is that we don’t advocate for any group,” Byron stated, “government was designed to be a voice of and for the people.”  He went on to say, “What we have now is elected officials dictating to the people.  They’re not representing the people; they’re representing their special groups or buddies.”  The couple envisions having enough citizens in Northern Utah that their voices are heard and advocate for the body of the people by standing up for things that are for the citizens and against those that are not.

Many citizens have expressed their outrage and frustration with big government and feel as the Tuck’s did and wanted to get involved, but could not find an organization that that represented their feelings about proper government.  According to this young couple and many others, the feeling is that one can no longer stand idly by.  The belief among many community members is that you have to choose sides now and take a stand to regain the freedoms taken by the government that wasn’t their right to take.

If you would like to check into this organization to see if it’s what you’re looking for, go to www.freedommworks.org and join; then do a search for United Citizen Task Force and request information about upcoming meetings and events.  Are you ready to get into the fight to restore freedom?  Here’s your opportunity.
