It has been fun to get a variety of feedback from students and parents during our first month of Growth Mindset and the theme of Mindfulness. Our students enjoyed learning about mindfulness through breathing, mind jars, and being aware of the world around them and how focus on what is happening now to settle our thoughts and feelings. I found myself often saying to a student “Let’s do a reset” to reset and get back on track with learning.
During October we are focusing on Identifying Brain Basics. Our phrase is “Train Your Brain” Mrs. Ramage will be focusing on how our brain works and how we are in control of our actions. Neuroplasticity will be a word Mrs. Ramage will introduce to our students. Click on the a video link to watch a video titled “Your Brain is Plastic”
