NORTH OGDEN—On August 7th, with the kickoff of the Weber County Rodeo, competitors brought their delicate touch to showcase their skills at the Maw Equipment Backhoe Rodeo. Twenty-eight people competed for cash prizes trying to move items such as eggs and bowling pins. The goal was to pick up the objects and place them in the correct spot without breaking them, which is quite the challenge with something as small and breakable as an egg. Dean Maw said it is all about the fun. One contestant said it was so much fun; and while he was nervous, he really enjoyed competing. This fun family event will continue to grow in popularity as something fun and different to attend at the Weber County Fair!
