Residents of South Willard and Willard, there have been recent complaints of missing mail from mail boxes. Why? Who?  They  seem to be targeting certain people or areas, whether it be foul play, jokes or a possible federal offense. This is happening to fellow citizens of our community. We need to be watchful of our neighbor’s mail and package delivery. There is a place to sign up for informed USPS delivery. You get an email everyday showing pictures of the mail you are supposed to receive that day. If anything is missing, there is a link to report it. Go to http//informeddelivery.usps.com/box/pages/intro/start.action

There have also been several people that have had packages that they did not order that have said it was delivered but was not received. The police are aware of this.  It could be fraud, drug running or many other things. Please take the time to register for the informed delivery and be watchful of people playing with other’s mail boxes, report what you see and let the police check it out.

Residents Beware!!! If you have watched the news or read the paper lately, you have seen there have been a number of incidents in neighboring communities.  Even worse it is happening here! There have been reports of attempted break-ins in the early morning hours on the east side of town, while the residents are at home! There have also been suspicious activities all over town and in neighboring South Willard. LOCK YOUR DOORS. If you hear and/or see someone around your house at night, dial 911. Watch during the day for unusual activity or vehicles in your neighborhood. Get description of vehicles –make, model and color, and a license number if possible. Cell phone photos or videos are great, too. If you have video surveillance watch for unusual activity and report it to the Police Department. Don’t leave valuables in your vehicles and lock your vehicle and house doors. If you see a suspicious vehicle or individual in the area, report it immediately (at once, right away, instantly, now, directly, promptly, forthwith, this/that (very) minute, this/that instant, there and then, then and there, on the spot, here and now, without delay, without further ado, posthaste).  Many reports have been called in hours or days after the event. Chief Loveland would rather check things out and avoid such incidents, or in South Willard call the Box Elder Sheriff’s Department.

CAUTION!!! NEW 3-WAY STOP AT THE CORNER OF 100 W AND 200 S in Willard.

Kristen Oki sent in a great picture. Kristen wrote, “Here are some Willard residents who you won’t find complaining on Facebook. These guys can be found leaving the comfort of their own homes and rushing out all hours of the day and night to provide aid and rescue to any Willard resident who calls on them. They also do this work for free! They have no political agenda, just the desire to give back and improve the quality of our community! Have you thanked a volunteer first responder lately???”

Three Mile Creek had their McTeacher night last week, things went well they received $1474.50. Thanks to everyone that came and helped support the school.
