If you are interested in enrolling an upcoming 1st grader into the Chinese Immersion for the 2018-2019 school year, the enrollment deadline is at 11:59 pm today, March 29th. Please feel free to pass this information along ot anyone interested outside of our school boundaries.

Chinese Immersion Selection Information

• 56 available slots
• District Foreign Language Department will hold a lottery and supply the school with the names
• No online district applications for the lottery will be accepted after the deadline
• Notification letters will be sent to every applicant

Dates to Remember

• Electronic Applications Due by Thursday, March 29, 2018 by 11:59 pm
• By April 27, 2018- Notifications sent to parents
• Friday, May 11, 2018–parents need to “accept” child’s place in the program using a digital form that will be sent to them in the notification email
• Friday, May 11, 2018– Registration / boundary variance paperwork completed and turned into Bates Elementary
