With Earth Day quickly approaching, people begin to consider the environmental dangers facing the earth and what they can do to make a change. Unfortunately, many may also be mislead to believe that these positive changes are expensive to make.
At Creditcards.com, we created a new article entitled, “Sustainable Living without Breaking the Bank: How to do it”, to discuss how positive changes don’t have to be expensive.
This article answers the questions:
Perdue Statement on House Committee Passage of 2018 Farm Bill
(Washington, D.C., April 18, 2018) – U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue today issued the following statement regarding approval of the 2018 Farm Bill by the House Committee on Agriculture:
“I commend Chairman Conaway and the House Committee on Agriculture for passing a comprehensive Farm Bill out of the Committee today. The bill closely aligns with the Farm Bill Principles released by USDA in January and is nearly identical to the legislation first introduced last week. We are encouraged that the Committee heard the voices of their constituents, who want to preserve and enhance programs contained in the 2014 Farm Bill, as I learned in my conversations with farmers, ranchers, foresters, and producers in 35 states in the last twelve months. As the bill heads to the floor, I hope the House recognizes the long-term certainty it provides for America’s farmers, just as it preserves nutrition programs for people who need help feeding themselves and their families. USDA stands ready to provide technical assistance as the bill progresses in the House, and we look forward to working with our friends in the Senate as well. As Republicans and Democrats have farm interests in their own districts and states, we are hopeful that the 2018 Farm Bill can move forward in a bipartisan manner.”

What's really important in life?
Today I want to tell you about Dan, a man who loves to save time.
He never drives if he can fly. He never bathes if he can shower.
He finished college in three years, the same time it took me to pass freshman English.
He asked the first girl he liked out to breakfast, so if things went well he could squeeze in three dates that day.
That night he asked her to marry him. When she pleaded for more time, he delayed the ceremony until the weekend.
Linda soon embraced his hectic lifestyle, and the couple had two children...the second one born on an airplane. Luckily, Dan upgraded to first-class, so she had more delivery room.
Now, at 45, Dan looks much older, yet he still crisscrosses the country trying to outwork everybody else.
Poor Dan. He’s raced through life on a success speedboat, but never taken time for the most important part...a pleasure cruise.

Have you ever thought about termites? They look like ants.
To tell them apart, I put the bug on a piece of wood. If the creature walks away, it’s an ant.
If it flies off and leaves a hole in the wood, it’s a termite. And if it flies away carrying the wood, it’s a termite with superpowers.
Here’s some advice: If you keep firewood in your yard, don’t store it near the house. Termites flock to it, and stage an eating frenzy they call “bark in the park."
Remember that a termite lays several thousand eggs a day, many more than a chicken. However, you can sell hen eggs, and a chicken won’t eat your house.
So, if you find a suspicious flying bug, look him up in an insect guide. If he eats the page while you’re reading it, he’ll make a lousy pet.
