Quoting Perlowin, The Denmark News reports: “In Brazil, there are spots where on the left you see the lush Amazon rainforest, and on the right it’s all flattened and destroyed,” said Perlowin, whose company opened a $20 million hemp fiber processing facility in Spring Hope, North Carolina last August. “In four months, you could have 12-foot tall hemp plants on all of that land, and then have it again in four months, instead of waiting years for trees to regrow.”
Perlowin told The Denmark News, “Kimberly-Clark better wake up and smell the bacon [and begin using hemp over wood pulp] as the number one paper producer, because if they don’t somebody will, and they’ll be the new number one.
“They’ll no longer be number one in that industry. Nobody will buy paper made by a company destroying trees when there is a better, eco-friendlier alternative… making paper out of hemp. You have to realize that the human species is quickly becoming a very intelligent ‘cultural creative conscious consumer base’ and they will no longer tolerate companies that rape, pillage and plunder the planet Earth when they don’t have to. A company like that could easily go from first to last in their respective field of endeavor,” says Perlowin.

While Wisconsin’s hemp industry takes shape, on Capitol Hill the House passed the farm bill Thursday after taking a second vote on the measure. The full Senate has yet to vote on that chamber's version of the farm bill, which could come as early as next week, according to Farm Journal Media. The farm bill includes hemp legalization that is backed by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. Hemp, Inc. announced its support in April for McConnell’s introduction of a bill to remove industrial hemp from the federal government’s schedule of controlled substances.

Hemp, Inc. has announced that its strategic growing partner, "Veteran Village Kins Community Arizona, Inc.," has completed its final site plan blueprints for its 500-acre site in Golden Valley, Arizona (20 miles north of Kingman, AZ and 90 minutes from Las Vegas, NV). The site plan was submitted to the Mohave County Building Department for final review. The Company is also in the final stages of completing the necessary infrastructure to support an off-grid, renewable, energy system. With the solar equipment in place, the site's solar power operation is now complete.
As soon as the live streaming video cameras are up and operational, the world can actually see the way the Veterans Village Kins Community is designed. According to Perlowin, the basic framework or overall plan of the Veterans Village Kins Community is a synchronicity of the “Traumatized” Veterans Village Kins Community, and other traumatized groups we will be building communities for such as the “Abused” Women & Children Village Kins Community, the “Orphaned” Children Village Kins Community, the “Homeless” Village Kins Community, and the “healers” Village Kins Community. Doctor Gives Patients Veggies
With Cooking Instructions
Just Saying “Eat Your Vegetables” Wasn’t Enough
Dr. Joseph Galati was talking to one of his patients about the need to put more vegetables into her diet and mentioned that cooking eggplant would probably be a good idea. The patient had never cooked eggplant before and had no idea how to do it.
“That is when I realized that I had to do more than just tell people to eat more vegetables,” says Galati (www.drjoegalati.com), author of Eating Yourself Sick: How to Stop Obesity, Fatty Liver, and Diabetes from Killing You and Your Family. “My patients that did try to eat more vegetables would rely on only one or two kinds and they got bored with it so they stopped. They were unaware of the variety of vegetables available and how to prepare them.”
With more knowledge about what kinds of vegetables to select and how to cook them, Galati believed more of his patients would comply with his prescription that they eat more vegetables.
So he started the “Great American Produce Giveaway” promotion in his office. He bought a bushel of squash, and then gave his patients a squash in a brown paper bag along with instructions on how to cook it. Different types of vegetables were given away regularly when his patients visited his office. It resulted in more of his patients eating a greater variety vegetables. Patients reported back that this was the jumpstart they needed to improve their nutrition and health.
“We had to give them really specific recommendations,” he says. “We have to realize that we are living in a new era of an under-educated and under-informed public when it comes to nutrition.”
Dr. Galati offers these tips on getting more vegetables into your diet:
Galati says many of his patients enjoyed learning more about vegetables and how to cook them. He added that everybody knows they should eat more vegetables, but a surprising amount of people don’t know how to prepare those vegetables with a meal.
But, he says, with a little research on the internet or with a cookbook, preparing vegetables can be fun, tasty and easy.

A Different Perspective on Peace

Think of where we are, on a very special, tilted planet that revolves on its own axis every 24 hours while it is circled by a moon that moves around it every 27 days, and both are circling the sun every 365 days, and the sun and all its planets are part of the spiral barred galaxy we call the Milky Way, which is revolving around its own axis once every 250 million years which means that our incredible little planet is racing through space, carried along by the galactic revolution or Cosmic Year, at a speed of 500,000 per hour or 12 million miles per day. Try to picture all these simultaneous movements in your mind.
We are on the outer edge of just one galaxy in a universe of 100 billion galaxies, a tiny dot in measureless space. And yet, and yet. . . this incredible planet has life, indeed is a living planet encased in a web of creatures dependent on one another and all functioning to support the whole miraculous enterprise. And here we humans are, conscious of all this, which ought to be both overwhelmingly humbling and awe-inspiring to the point of putting us on our knees. To think that we are a part of this almost inconceivable cosmic dance leaves me breathless. And I say to myself, how can we possibly harm one another and the whole web of life, for as far as we know there is no such other planet like earth, and if there is, it’s too far away get to. This is it, here on this rapidly moving miracle planet. So, to put it simply, let’s all get along together and nurture the unique systems of life which support us in this remote but awesome place in the universe.
