Hemp, Inc. Expands Joint Venture Agreement with HQ Global Education, Inc. to Plant 50 Acres of Hemp in Spring Hope, North Carolina
SPRING HOPE, NC, June 28, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hemp, Inc. (OTC PINK: HEMP), a global leader in the industrial hemp industry with the largest multipurpose industrial hemp processing facility in the western hemisphere, announced today the company’s joint venture agreement with HQ Global Education, Inc. (OTC: HQGE) to plant 25 acres of industrial hemp has been doubled to 50 acres.
Hemp, Inc. announced June 14th that it signed a contract with HQGE to plant 25 acres of industrial hemp. Per the updated agreement, Hemp, Inc. began planting seeds of industrial hemp June 27 on 50 acres next to its 85,000 square foot hemp manufacturing and processing facility in Spring Hope, North Carolina. The hemp industry is projected to grow 700% and hit $1.8 billion by 2020, according to Hemp Business Journal.
The seeds are expected to yield 4,000 pounds of hemp per acre or a total 200,000 pounds of high cannabidiol (CBD) hemp biomass. This is the first step in the collaboration between HQGE and Hemp, Inc. to grow premium hemp for the purpose of developing high-quality CBD isolates and/or distillates and/or hemp-related products for business-to-business and possible business-to-consumer marketing.
Hemp, Inc.’s long-term strategy is to build the world’s largest hemp oil extraction infrastructure by creating joint ventures with multiple companies to house and operate their CBD extraction equipment in its Spring Hope multi-purpose industrial hemp processing facility.
Hemp, Inc. announced in August 2017 the official launch of its NuAxon Tech CO2 Supercritical Extractor. On Nov. 2, 2017, Hemp, Inc. announced the delivery of its advanced CBD hemp oil extraction post-processing equipment, thus completing the company’s hemp oil extraction infrastructure. Hemp, Inc. has announced that its strategic growing partner, "Veteran Village Kins Community Arizona, Inc.," has completed its final site plan blueprints for its 500-acre site in Golden Valley, Arizona (20 miles north of Kingman, AZ and 90 minutes from Las Vegas, NV). The site plan was submitted to the Mohave County Building Department for final review. The Company is also in the final stages of completing the necessary infrastructure to support an off-grid, renewable, energy system. With the solar equipment in place, the site's solar power operation is now complete.
As soon as the live streaming video cameras are up and operational, the world can actually see the way the Veterans Village Kins Community is designed. According to Perlowin, the basic framework or overall plan of the Veterans Village Kins Community is a synchronicity of the “Traumatized” Veterans Village Kins Community, and other traumatized groups we will be building communities for such as the “Abused” Women & Children Village Kins Community, the “Orphaned” Children Village Kins Community, the “Homeless” Village Kins Community, and the “healers” Village Kins Community. These particular communities are all dependent upon one another and work simultaneously supporting each other. Federal Court Orders DOJ to Begin Searching and Producing Fusion GPS Records in Response to Judicial Watch Lawsuit
Court Criticizes DOJ’s FOIA Response
(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced U.S. District Court Judge Reggie B. Walton instructed the Justice Department to immediately begin producing records about DOJ communications with Nellie Ohr, the wife of senior DOJ official Bruce Ohr. Nellie Ohr worked for Clinton campaign vendor Fusion GPS on the anti-Trump Dossier campaign document.
Judge Walton rejected a Justice Department request to begin producing documents six months from now and ordered the DOJ to begin producing documents immediately on a rolling basis over the next two months. Judge Walton also rejected DOJ’s efforts to restrict their search to only 2016.
Judge Walton repeatedly criticized the Justice Department during a June 14 hearing:
I think if it’s been almost, since December when the initial request was made more should have been done by now. And it seems to me if you have someone who’s going to come into office and they say they’re going to be a disrupter, that they should appreciate there’s going to be a lot of FOIA requests and therefore, should gear up to deal with those requests. So I’m not real sympathetic to the position that you have limited staff and therefore, you can’t comply with these requests. So I think you’re going to have to get some more people.

I mean FOIA is considered to be very important. I keep getting from the government, from various agencies we can’t do this, we can’t do that because we don’t have the resources. I’m not real sympathetic to that. FOIA is important. Open government is important, and government has to comply with FOIA in order to make it an open government.
In March 2018 Judicial Watch filed the FOIA lawsuit after the Justice Department failed to respond to a December 2017 FOIA request (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Justice (No.1:18-cv-00491)). The lawsuit seeks:

In December 2017, Bruce Ohr was removed from his position as U.S. Associate Deputy Attorney General after it was revealed that he conducted undisclosed meetings with anti-Trump dossier author Christopher Steel and Glenn Simpson, principal of Fusion GPS. A House Intelligence Committee memo released by Chairman Devin Nunes on February 2 noted that Ohr’s wife, Nellie, was “employed by Fusion GPS to assist in the cultivation of opposition research on Trump” and that Bruce Ohr passed the results of that research, which was paid for by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the Hillary Clinton campaign, to the FBI.

USDA Enhances the Quality of Life in Rural Areas by Building or Improving Essential Community Service Facilities
Department Invests $237 Million in Health Care, Municipal Centers, Schools, and Opioid Treatment, Prevention and Recovery Facilities
BOX ELDER, S.D., June 27, 2018 – Assistant to the Secretary for Rural Development Anne Hazlett today announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is investing $237 million in 119 rural community service facilities (PDF, 291 KB) in 29 states.
“At USDA, we believe in rural America and in the promise of small towns and the people who call them home,” Hazlett said. “Under Secretary Perdue’s leadership, we are committed to being a strong partner to local leaders in building healthy, prosperous futures for their communities.”
Hazlett announced the funding following a meeting here of the Western Governors Association. USDA is supporting these quality-of-life projects through the Community Facilities Direct Loan Program. For example:
The projects that are being announced today will help improve the quality of life in rural communities in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
More than 100 types of projects are eligible for USDA Community Facilities funding. Eligible applicants include municipalities, public bodies, nonprofit organizations and federally and state-recognized Native American tribes. Applicants and projects must be in rural areas with a population of 20,000 or less. There is no limit on the size of the loans. Loan amounts have ranged from $10,000 to $165 million.
The 2018 Omnibus bill increased the Fiscal Year (FY) 2018 budget for the Community Facilities Direct Loan program to $2.8 billion, up $200 million from FY 2017.
In April 2017, President Donald J. Trump established the Interagency Task Force on Agriculture and Rural Prosperity to identify legislative, regulatory and policy changes that could promote agriculture and prosperity in rural communities. In January 2018, Secretary Perdue presented the Task Force’s findings to President Trump. These findings included 31 recommendations to align the federal government with state, local and tribal governments to take advantage of opportunities that exist in rural America. Increasing investments in rural infrastructure is a key recommendation of the task force.
