Meatball Subs and Chicken Parmesan Subs
Meatball Subs:
*Hoagie style buns (I buy uncooked whole-grain subs in a huge box from the bakery at Sam's Club- you have to ask them for it and you'll probably want to split a box with someone, 'cuz there's a ton of them. Just thaw, let them rise, and bake them fresh. Mmmmmm.)
*Meatballs (I occasionally make a huge batch of homemade meatballs and freeze them, but most often, I just buy them precooked and frozen from Costco in a big ol' bag.)
*Spaghetti sauce (homemade or from a can with added Italian spices for more flavor.)
*Cheese (my favorites are mozzarella, swiss, and provolone. It's best with two of these at a time- I never have too much cheese- but just one will do in a pinch)
*Anything else you want to add (fresh spinach, fresh or sautéed mushrooms, peppers, onions, etc.)
Directions: Just pile everything inside the bun and enjoy!
Chicken Parmesan Subs:
*Same as the Meatball Subs, except use breaded, cooked chicken patties or even smaller pieces like tenders or nuggets.
