We are having a larger number of scooters and skateboards inside our building. If your child decides to ride a bike, skateboard, or scooter to school, there are few locations where they can lock them up.
Above our school on 3200 N, there is a bike rack in the parking lot for the park. Students are also welcome to lock items along our fence on the south side of the school. If a student has a skateboard or scooter that folds up, it needs to be inside his or her backpack.
We have had some issues lately with items being stolen, tripped over in hallways and coat rooms, or being ridden inside our school which makes it necessary put bikes, scooters, and skateboards in designated areas. I know this email may not apply to many of you due to carpool, but I wanted to make you aware of it.

PTA asked me to send out an email that the Room Parent Mingle has been cancelled for tomorrow, Septmeber 4th.
It has been rescheduled for Monday, September 10th at 10am in the Library.
