We recently published a photo of Eden native Lance Cpl. Paige Tallon, a heavy equipment operator with Combat Logistics Battalion 31, aboard the USS Wasp during a regularly scheduled patrol of the Indo-Pacific with the 31st MEU. Tallon is a 2017 graduate of Weber High School.

Lance Cpl. Paige A. Tallon, a heavy equipment operator with Combat Logistics Battalion 31, reads one of her favorite novels inside berthing aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1) at White Beach Naval Facility, Okinawa, Japan, Aug. 20, 2018. Tallon, a native of Eden, Utah, graduated Weber High School in June 2017 before enlisting in the Marine Corps the same month. Marines and Sailors spend their free time reading, drawing or interacting with their fellow service members while relaxing in communal living spaces. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible force ready to perform a wide-range of military operations in the Indo-Pacific region.
