Hello and Good Afternoon!
Like many firms, auto lenders are (or should be) increasingly focused on their mobile apps, because a well-designed mobile app has become one of the most critical drivers of customer satisfaction for those taking out auto loans.
That’s according to J.D. Power’s 2018 U.S. Consumer Financing Satisfaction Study, the release for which is now out:
https://www.jdpower.com/business/press-releases/2018-us-consumer-financing-satisfaction-study
The annual study was significantly redesigned based on industry input to capture the full auto finance customer journey throughout the shopping, origination and servicing processes. The study measures overall customer satisfaction in five factors (listed alphabetically): billing and payment process; mobile app experience; onboarding process; origination process; and website experience. Satisfaction is calculated on a 1,000-point scale.
Following are key findings of the 2018 study:

Salt Lake City Council to vote on an ordinance regulating the commercial sale of pets
WHAT: The Salt Lake City Council will hear a proposed ordinance to codify the regulation of the commercial sale of dogs, cats and rabbits.
WHEN: Tuesday, November 13 at 7 p.m.
Agenda: https://www.slc.gov/council/agendas
Item is F1/Ordinance: Limitations on the sale of dogs, cats, and rabbits at commercial animal establishments.
WHO: Salt Lake City Council
WHERE: Council Chambers
451 South State Street, Room 315
Salt Lake City, UT 84111
WHY: Salt Lake City determined that it is in the best interest of the public health, safety, and welfare of the City to prohibit the sale of any dog, cat, or rabbit in any pet shop, retail business, or other commercial establishment located in the City of Salt Lake, unless the dog, cat or rabbit was obtained from a city or county animal shelter or animal control agency, a humane society, or a nonprofit rescue organization.
“We applaud Salt Lake City for taking a stand against the pet overpopulation and homelessness problem,” said Gene Baierschmidt, HSU executive director. “Documenting the source where a pet comes from will help decrease the irresponsible and inhumane commercial breeding of puppies, kittens and bunnies to be sold for profit, and consequently, reduce the number of these animals entering the shelter system.”
