Calling All Captains

Announces Upcoming Shows

With Rarity

New EP

Nothing Grows Here

Available for Purchase

Streaming on  Spotify Apple Music

Edmonton, AB - February 28, 2019 - Canadian quintet Calling All Captains has announced additional shows for this spring. The band will be trekking across Canada with Rarity from April 26th to May 3rd. For a full list of dates, please see below or visit: www.facebook.com/Callingallcaptainsband.

Calling All Captains is currently bringing their pop punk melodies to the U.S. in support of their latest album Nothing Grows Here. The six week run kicked off earlier this month and features support throughout from Settle Your Scores, Gardenside, Gold Steps, Brigades, Felicity, and Makari.

Nothing Grows Here, the Equal Vision Records debut from Calling All Captains, was released on February 8th. The EP features hit singles "Chasing Ghosts" and "Disconnected," and can be streamed now on Spotify and Apple Music. Fans can also purchase it online at callingallcaptains.lnk.to/nothing.

Starting out in a small basement in St. Albert, lined with flags and posters of their favourite bands, Calling All Captains have been working tirelessly to grow their art since they formed in February of 2014. To date, the band has released two EP's - A Way With Words (2014), and Disconnect (2016) and set up and executed several self-funded tours to support them, fearlessly cutting their teeth to earn every inch of traction. "This is what we love, and this is what we want to do. So, we make it happen" shares bassist Nick Malychuk. After a brief break in 2017 and some lineup changes, Captains came back stronger and more determined than ever, steadfast in their resolve to continue writing and growing as people, and as artists.

From their single "Nerve" amassing 500,000 plays on Spotify as an unsigned band, to touring across Canada and the UK and landing a spot on the 2015 Vans Warped Tour, the band's relentless work ethic and reputation for their high energy shows have been a testament to their explosive growth. Calling All Captains have gone on to share the stage alongside acts like Silverstein, Seaway, Boston Manor, Broadside, Like Pacific and Rarity, and more.

With new music out now and even more shows on the way for this year, fans can expect big things.

Calling All Captains is Luc Gauthier (vocals), Brad Bremner (guitar), Connor Dawkins (guitar), Nick Malychuk (bass), and Tim Wilson (drums).

 SLEEP TALK

Announce Debut Album

Everything In Colour

Out May 3rd via UNFD

New Video "Everything In Colour"

 Out Now: youtu.be/oDy7-GuYwpQ

Adelaide, AUS - February 28, 2019 - UNFD are thrilled to announce the signing of Sleep Talk. The Adelaide band will release their debut album Everything In Colour on Friday, May 3rd, and have today unveiled the video for the title track. Fans can watch the aesthetically pleasing "Everything In Colour," here: youtu.be/oDy7-GuYwpQ

Heavy bands from Adelaide rarely move out of the sleepy suburbs and onto the national stage, but Sleep Talk are changing that with their uniquely precise-yet-frenetic brand of post-hardcore in the form of debut album, Everything In Colour.

Having made their first statement with the Growing Pains EP in 2016, Sleep Talk threw themselves into creating a debut album that takes the details of everyday life and elevates them into something eccentric, exciting and artistic. "It's important to be challenged sometimes," says vocalist Jacob Clement. "You should never stop learning, and that's not just at an academic level."

The vision for Everything In Colour was to turn small and personal moments into art that can be interpreted in a myriad of different ways that sprang from a place of honesty. The album is a commentary on the every-day struggle of modern routine, and how we all cope through this confusing and fascinating thing we call life.

"We just wanted to write an organic bunch of songs. We didn't force anything or aim in a certain direction. We believed in each other's abilities enough. We were excited and confident," says drummer Michael Belletti.

The time has come for Sleep Talk to step out of their comfort zone and present a piece of work that reflects the artists' true selves. This is a record for everyone. This is Everything In Colour.

Having toured with the likes of Turnstile, Citizen and Turnover, Sleep Talk are used to embedding the catharsis of their songwriting into their performances as a stunning riot of emotion, sound and physicality. The band will announce a headline tour of Australia shortly, and hometown fans can also see the band perform alongside label mates Hellions and Yours Truly at The Gov in Adelaide on May 3.

Sleep Talk's new album Everything In Colour is out May 3 via UNFD. Pre-orders are available now at unfd.lnk.to/EverythingInColour
