OGDEN SYMPHONY BALLET ASSOCIATION (OSBA) IS NOW ONSTAGE OGDEN

Onstage Ogden to celebrate 70 Years as Northern Utah’s premier performing arts presenter

Ogden, Utah, March 2019- Ogden Symphony Ballet Association (OSBA) is pleased to announce that we are now Onstage Ogden. In 1949, the Utah Symphony was first presented at Ogden High School to almost 300 patrons for a cost of $400. Over the next few years, the original arrangement that brought Utah Symphony to Ogden crystallized into what later became OSBA. Almost 70 years and over 1,000 performances later, OSBA will now be Onstage Ogden.

In the summer of 2018, Onstage Ogden staff and Board of Directors began researching and evaluating the necessity and feasibility of a name change and rebrand. The information collected suggested that it was time to make an investment in the organization's unique identity. Over the period of nine months, staff worked with a community rebranding committee, an independent marketing consultant, and a professional brand design firm.

Onstage Ogden energizes and engages the greater Ogden community by presenting only the finest world-class music and dance.

With this update, Onstage Ogden will be able to 1) Avoid consumer confusion that they are an orchestra or a ballet company, or that they are an association of which you must be a member to attend; 2) Create a brand which allows room for the wonderfully diverse programming already offered while leaving space for future growth; 3) Project a clean, modern, and up to date image across all marketing, and improve relevance among new demographics. All of these factors influence longevity and the organization’s ability to gain new patrons and donors as the population of Ogden continues to evolve.

Onstage Ogden invites the press to celebrate this exciting new chapter during a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Eccles Art Center at 3:30 pm on March 20, 2019. Onstage Ogden thanks the Ogden-Weber Chamber of Commerce and The Spikers for their participation.

Subject: INVITE (3/13): Cory Wells @ The Urban Lounge

From: Becky Kovach <becky@bigpicturemediaonline.com

Hi Dawn -  hope you're well!

Just wanted to send a note your way about a new artist I'm working with - singer/songwriter Cory Wells! He's currently getting ready to hit the road with William Ryan Key (formerly of Yellowcard), and will be at The Urban Lounge in Salt Lake City on Wednesday, March 13th. Would love to chat about coverage for the show!

California-based Wells signed to Pure Noise Records last year, following the release of his highly successful single, "End Of A Good Thing." The video received over 1.2MIL views on Youtube and the track has brought in over 1.1MIL streams on Spotify.

With a style that channels early 2000 emo greats like Dashboard Confessional and The Early November, Wells writes songs that are earnest and vulnerable - as well as heartbreakingly beautiful. With a busy touring schedule and new music in the works, 2019 is already promising to be his biggest year yet.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

x

Becky
