This is going to be a difficult op-ed to write, but here goes ...someone has to say it.
It’s the Pee Tape!!!
This is just my observation and opinion, but it’s the only explanation as to why everyone is so uncomfortable with revealing the contents of the now infamous Mueller Report.
Collusion, sure. Obstruction of justice, of course. But the President’s celebrated sexual behavior and pattern of hopeless stupidity therein is why this episode in American history will conclude in sexually promiscuous demise for another American president. It’s the one thing, far above collusion, obstruction of justice and tax fraud allegations, all of which Trump can handle and upon which he is focusing along with the issues du jour like the southern border crisis, healthcare, etc., that would humiliate him beyond reprisal and cause him to act so defensively, and offensively to get way out in front of it.
Fraud, lying, cheating, broadcast adultery ...those are all just daily chores for The Donald.
Many of us thought that Trump’s infamous “Access Hollywood” statements about his masculine prowess, his celebrity and his sexually depraved exploits by grabbing women by their “pu**y” because he is a “ star” and he can “get away with it” doing anything he wants, would kill any chance he had of becoming the Republican nominee for president in 2016, no less winning the presidency. Boy, were we wrong!
Unconscionably, Trump’s base voters gave him a pass on this, and even more surprisingly, exalted this slimy, pathetic human being for his chutzpah, braggadocio and arrogance, mistaking it for gravitas and leadership ability cheering him on to win the presidential election.
Unbelievable.
Who are these people who voted for and elected this lecherous “moron” (that’s what his own Secretary of State called him) as their president? The answer to that question is the problem the rest of us are now facing.
I get it that everyone, me included, was fed up with Washington’s perennial three-ring circus of incompetence, inaction and partisanship ...self-interests, irresponsibility and negligence. I get it that Hillary Clinton was equally as deceivious and mistrustful a character. Whitewater and the Vince Foster mystery were just the tip of her melting iceberg, notwithstanding her 33,000 missing emails and Russia uranium deal. And Bernie Sanders was just too ...old, weird, and a little overbearing with his socialistic pie-in-the-sky inclinations, with just a hint of mistrust.
So, I guess I get it why Trump won. But now, two years into it, it should be obvious to every voting American that he’s in way over his head and drowning in incompetence deflected by arrogance and double-talk, something to which every practiced con man resorts. It should be obvious to every American that there is a monster in the White House and he needs to go before it’s too late, before any more damage is done.
Economy booming? I can’t see it, nor can anyone else. Unemployment down? Not really. Stock market up? Nah, it comes and goes. Companies coming back to the USA? Not so fast. Coal miners back to work? Nuh-uh. National debt? It’s the highest it’s ever been!
Smoke and mirrors, lies, and a sincere desire to believe things are all good with America, all because of Donald Trump, are just a confusing, self-promoting con filtered through a flighty, ratings-driven media. They’ve all contributed to turning America inside out confusing every issue from the economy, national security, healthcare, education, nukes, military defense, cyber defense ...just the way way Putin wants it, and just where China and North Korea want us to be. It all boils down to one man’s selfish, narcissistic personality and lecherous sexual depravity, the same of which has been the downfall of many a politician, CEO and president. This time that man happens to be the sitting President of the United States of America, and the stakes are incalculable.
So, here’s the deal about sex and the now infamous Mueller Report. Forget about the President’s shill Attorney General William Barr’s meager four page summary and drifting follow-ups. It’s just more smoke and mirrors as mentioned above. Don’t even listen to the pap coming from the President’s nutcase lawyer, Rudi “Truth isn’t Truth” Giuliani. But do pay attention to the anguish coming from Mueller and his team about Barr’s interpretation and conclusions, and keep your eye on the un-redacted report from Mueller. I think we’ll ultimately see it.
The Barr summary is the biggest cover-up since Milli Vanilli https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milli_Vanilli Forget that he told the world that Mueller exonerated Trump. The Mueller Report specifically stated that it did “NOT exonerate” the President. Either way, pay particular attention to the ‘redactions’ Barr is suggesting for the ...protection of national security, grand jury witness testimonies, and protecting the personal reputation of the President and his family from embarrassment ...and “unduly infring[ing] on the personal privacy and reputational interests of peripheral third parties.” ...probably meaning Don Jr., Jared and Ivanka. Right ...he’d probably like to redact all of it and send us stupid Americans on our way thinking we got a good deal. These are exactly the kinds of things that we need to know about, because we already suspect them, and they are the things of which impeachment and criminal charges can be based, including collusion and obstruction of justice.
Remember the “Steele Dossier”? http://thesteeledossier.com/ Christopher Steele is a former British intelligence officer from the Brits M-16 secret service, a real James Bond 007 type who formed his own London-based intelligence firm. He wrote a report in 2016 claiming that Russia compiled a file of compromising information about President Trump. The Russians are known to do this routinely worldwide to significant individuals who they want to leverage. Steele’s lengthy report contains a specific incident regarding a Trump indiscretion, and although it may not be a crime, to many it will be the last straw toward impeachment.
Personally, I don’t think Trump can take another “Hollywood Access” hit and survive in the public forum. Look at the Steele Dossier link above, check out the first ‘Detail’ section, paragraph 3 after the ‘Summary’ near the top regarding Trump’s alleged “Golden Shower”. It’s too disgusting to detail here. Apparently, there is a videotape recording of this. To me, if this comes out into the public record it will sink, finish off, Trump, his family and his administration. The worldwide public humiliation would be just too much to bear, even for Trump. His persona will remain intact, however, because we all already suspect that this pathetic, bloated, bully-boy coward, who I almost feel sorry for, and who seems to be mentally unstable, is more than capable of this depravity. Of course, his voters and base may praise him for his experimental sexual adventures, which would not be altogether surprising, and which would explain why America is in the shape it’s in today.
Our American Democracy is broken. At best, it’s worn out. There are some elements within our country that may think an autocratic system of government would work better. There are foreign elements, Russia, China, North Korea ...who are working overtime at it. They see democracy as slow and messy process. However, I’ll take slow and messy any day in order to remain free.
Beware of politicians selling ‘the common good‘. It’s just a pipe dream for suckers. Their interest is power and wealth. Putin has something on Trump and he’s hanging it over his head like the Sword of Damocles. It’s the only explanation for Trump’s behavior toward him. It’s the “Pee Tape”.
President Goldfinger’s “Golden Shower” could very well be his downfall.
The Steele Dossier has come under scrutiny and can’t be proven to be totally accurate. Many Republicans have blown it off and don’t talk about it anymore, neither does the media. There’s a reason why they don’t, because it’s uncomfortably disgusting. However, more elements of the report are coming to pass as true.
So, if April showers bring May flowers ...just possibly, the Golden Showers may sink Trump Towers.
