We are still in need of Junior Achievement volunteers. We are still in need for volunteers in 1, 2, 6 on .May 21st. The information is below from the last email regarding Junior Achievement and how to sign up. Please sign up by April 30th so we contact you to let you know when the date is to pick up materials.
As a school, we want to create an activity that will be educational and keep our students engaged during last week of school. As part of our last week of school, we will be doing Junior Achievement in a Day on Tuesday, May 21st. Some of you have volunteered your time teaching Junior Achievement before. Junior Achievement involves lessons at various grade levels teaching about financial literacy, business, and community. These lessons are taught by individuals in our community whether it be parents, grandparents, or business people.
Here is more information on Junior Achievement https://www.juniorachievement.org/web/ja-usa/home
We are seeking volunteers to teach one lesson 4 times in a grade level on May 21st. Students in each grade level will be mixed into four groups for rotations. Our 5th grade already does Junior Achievement City in Salt Lake City and will not be participating. Our Kindergarten does not have enough time in the day to fit Junior Achievement in.
We are in need of 4 volunteers per grade level on Tuesday, May 21st from 8:30-10:30 for grades 2,3,4,6 and 1:00pm-3:00pm in grade 1.
We would love to have parents or even grandparents come volunteer their time. If this is something you would be will to come help in our school, we would love it!
If you willing to help us out we need you signed up by Friday, April 26th so if all slots aren't filled, we can find some help.

URGENT MESSAGE ABOUT YEARBOOKS
Dear Parents,
Yearbooks must be purchased by May 1st in order for your child to receive one. We have significantly upgraded the quality of the yearbooks this year and we also have a fun new addition! Every child that purchases a yearbook will receive FOUR FREE PERSONALIZED pages in the back of their yearbook where they can add photos from the school year. You can add first day photos of your children, fun events or parties, family photos or anything you’d like. The PTA is supplying this for every person that purchases a yearbook by May 1st. You also must complete AND finalize these personal pages by May 1st to receive them. If you don’t, the pages will not print into your yearbook. If you don’t do it in time we will not be able to fix it or have them printed later this way. Please remember to create AND finalize your pages in time. If you need help creating your pages we have a tutorial for you at the link below that will walk you through the process:

For yearbooks we have three options this year:
Hardcover - $35
Softcover - (most popular) $25
Digital - $6.50
Also, if you can’t remember if you purchased a yearbook already please do a search in your email for “Picaboo” to see if you have a confirmation email from them. If you still aren’t sure then email us at batesptaboard@gmail.com and we will try to help you. The school does not have this info. Thank you so much!
We will also be at the school on Tuesday, April 30th from 8am-8:30 and from 2:45-3:30 if you have questions or need help with the yearbook site.
Sincerely,
