The Utah county, included in Tooele's current borders incorporated in 1856 and dissolved in 1862 was named Shambip County.

Wikipedia says the county consisted primarily of the Rush Valley and its county seat was located at the town of Shambip.

Eyebrow-raising statements from Kushner

  • White House adviser and Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner said in a televised interview with Axios on Sunday he doesn't know if he would call the FBI if he were to again receive a letter promising campaign help from a foreign government similar to the email that led to the infamous Trump Tower meeting in 2016.
  • Kushner also claimed he never discussed his top-secret security clearance with Trump despite reports the president ordered his own staff to approve it.
  • He also repeatedly refused to say whether Trump leading the "birtherism" charge against former President Obama was racist.

Bombshell. An investigation by the New York Times found Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao repeatedly used her position to benefit her family's shipping company, which has deep ties to the economic and political elite in China. Chao also requested "alarmingly inappropriate" meetings between her family's company and Chinese officials in 2017.
