I Hear You – Affordable Daycare. As the cost of living soars in Salt Lake City, the cost of daycare is monstrously high. There are innovative solutions involving employers, co-ops, affordable-daycare slots on patches of city land. Where even small employers can afford to provide the service for their workers. Public-private partnerships. This is an issue whose time has come.
Trailer for a video about SLC PRIDE (several other cities are included)--with 800,000 views. This was officially the best PRIDE ever. So many thanks--to Pride Center staff, the City and to all of our astonishing straight allies. I LOVE that we are moving beyond 'us and them'. We all need each other. Weird, corny and uncreative--yet there, underneath it all, we have one overriding responsibility--that we love one another.
