A test of character is how one acts under pressure.
When Secretary of State Mike Pompeo lambasted an NPR reporter recently for asking questions about Ukraine issues it demonstrated poor judgement and disrespect for the reporter, for himself, and for the American people ...even the American people who voted for his boss, Donald Trump aka President Goldfinger.
Pompeo was rattled, he lost his cool. He insulted the reporter cursing at her and accused her of lying. He repeatedly used the F word. He was so rattled and so lost his cool that he told her ‘nobody cares about Ukraine‘ and that ‘most Americans couldn’t even find Ukraine on a map'. Further, Pompeo banned this reporter from flying on his State Department plane with other members of the press to report on Ukraine news.
Wow. This man is Secretary of State. He was the former director of the CIA. He is considering running for the Senate. We should expect more of him.
Further, and unconscionably, Pompeo’s boss, President Goldfinger, praised him, patting him on the head for his handling of the reporter telling him, “You did a good job on her.” This is the same guy (Trump) who demonstrated his own character by telling the world that he is such a big media star and so popular with the ladies that he can just ‘grab them by their p**sy’. He demonstrates this character every day in many ways if you’ve been paying attention.
And there you have it.
Can you justify actions like this by Trump and company ...the meanness, the vindictiveness, the political shenanigans and the whole Trump package and ‘basket of deplorables’?
In case you don’t see anything wrong with this picture, here it is. If by now you approve and can justify all of the above, and you can’t find Ukraine on a map, you should be as embarrassed as Mike Pompeo should be regarding his actions. If you are a Trump supporter, it should cause you even further embarrassment.
The map above should help you with the Ukraine location. Relative to character, and things like values, morals, good judgement, awareness, etc., you are on your own and may God help and bless you.
