Monday, November 9, 5-8 pm
Counselors and College Recruiters will be available to provide hands-on help with:
· All Utah College and University Admissions Applications
· All Utah College and University Institutional Scholarship Applications
· Ordering USU and WSU Concurrent Enrollment Transcripts
You will need to bring:
· Your Social Security Number
· Your Driver’s License
· Method of Payment (credit or debit card)
Two free BEHS electronic transcripts will be available to send to the colleges of your choice during this event to help you with the application process. Go to the Main Office to make your transcript order.

Although it is not required that parents attend, we encourage parents to come and help their student. If a parent cannot attend, please just be a phone call away in case your help is needed. J
Remember: Most college applications require an application fee, a high school transcript, an official ACT score, and your concurrent enrollment college transcript. Check with your college to make certain all documents are received.
Special Note: December 1, 2015 is a critical deadline for USU, UU, and BYU!

College Representatives and Counselors will be available to help you complete all of your college applications! Parents are invited to come along to help their seniors --- if your senior has a conflict and cannot attend, you are welcome to come and work on their behalf.
See the attached flyer for details! Bring your social security number, driver’s license number and a method for online payment.

The Box Elder Girls Basketball Team will be hosting a basketball club. The club will be held Monday nights beginning November 2 thru February 22. Come learn basketball skills and strategy from Box Elder players and coaches. Additionally get the chanceto play competitive basketball.

Ready appointments on Oct. 27th and will continue to schedule appointments for the next few months. Please watch for a postcard to come in the mail with your student’s
specific day and time. If you would prefer to schedule a day and time please contact Alicia Harris at 435-734-4854 from 7:30-2:00. Limited evening appointments are available. We look forward to seeing you and your student at this important meeting!
USU Multicultural Conference for Juniors and Seniors:
Educational Opportunity Scholarship Interview Opportunity (Seniors)
The Conference is for First Generation College Students and Multicultural Students (juniors and seniors) Friday, November 20, from 9 am to 4:30 pm.
Students attending can receive a school excused absence. Students should pick up a college visit absence form in the counseling center.
Recommended registration deadline: November 6 The registration fee is $20 Register for the conference at https://www.usu.edu/admissions/events/diversity
Transportation is available (first come first serve) at USU Brigham City Campus. Students can select a “pick up” location when registering online.
Seniors can interview for the Educational Opportunity Scholarship at the conference. They must have an admissions index of 103 and a 20 on the ACT. See the attached index chart.
This scholarship can range from set dollar amount to 4 years full tuition. The application to apply for interviews at the conference is November 6. The application can be found at https://www.usu.edu/admissions/scholarships/edop
Students who are not permanent residents or US Citizens may apply for the Educational Opportunity Scholarship and will be considered for private funding that will be awarded at the event.
